Joshua Ziminski and his wife Kelly Ziminski were in court today and officially charged with multiple felonies. Joshua was charged with felonies Armed burglary, robbery, intimidation of a victim, false imprisonment, ID Theft, and bail-jumping – all felonies as a party to a crime. Kelly was charged with the same felonies, without the bail-jumping charge. She was not out on bail like her husband, but was on extended supervision, which is similar to parole. Kelly will likely have her extended supervision revoked, and go back to prison on her earlier charges that are unrelated. Both were also charged with misdemeanor battery. Their bond was set at $100,000 each.

Joshua Ziminski and his wife Kelly were caught on camera rioting on August 25, 2020, the night Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two men in self defense. Ziminski shot his pistol in the air during the riots, moments before Kyle killed Joseph Rosenbaum. Joshua also lit a trailer on fire. The progressive DA, Mike Graveley went easy on Ziminski. He was out on bail at the time of this arrest for the Arson.

On August 26, 2022 at about 2:00am, a Kenosha Patrol Officer encountered a 54-year-old man, the alleged victim in this case. He told police that two men and a woman he knew as “Bonnie” just robbed him. “Bonnie” is Kelly Ziminski’s porn-star name. (Explicit Link). He said he met Kelly a week before and she cleaned his home for money. The alleged victim told police that he heard a knock at his door at about 1:20am that night and it was Kelly. She asked to use the bathroom and he allowed her in, but then Joshua and a third man followed her in. Joshua then grabbed the man at knife-point and demanded all the man’s money in the home. The man told Joshua that he didn’t have any money in the home but had some in his bank. Joshua then put the knife to the man’s back and pushed him outside into a full-sized GMC. The man tried to dial 9-1-1 but Joshua took the phone away. They demanded the man’s PIN number and ATM card. They then proceeded to drive to Lou Perrine’s, Speedway, Kwik Trip and Chase, all on Washington Rd. Each time, the transaction failed. They ended up back at Lou Perrine’s. The man then escaped at the gas station even with the men trying to stop him. The victim was able to pick put Ziminski out of a photo line-up. Ziminski and the other man threatened to kill the man and bury him where no one would find him. The Ziminskis told police that the reason for their actions is that the man raped Kelly.

Joshua is facing almost 59 years in the Wisconsin Prison system if convicted and Kelly is facing almost 53 years.

Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Drew Lehman
(Photo by Kevin Mathewson, Kenosha County Eye)

Prosecutor Drew Lehman made a bold statement about the need for a high bond. He asked court commissioner Loren Keating to hold both of the defendants on $100,000 each. Lehman said that the bail that Joshua was out on wasn’t enough to prevent further criminal conduct and he had a long violent criminal history including several convictions for illegal possession of a firearm and violating restraining orders. “These charged are violent in nature and include a weapon.” said Lehman. Defense attorney Michael Barth asked for a lower bond saying that Ziminski’s $14,000 bail for his arson / rioting case was paid by his mother who had to cash in her retirement. Commissioner Keating agreed with Lehman and had strong words of his own. He was concerned by the violent behavior with a weapon. “You have great exposure [of prison time].” Ziminski was using profanity and was upset because the commissioner is “taking [his] kids’ parents from them.” He was also upset that the commissioner isn’t allowing him to have contact with his wife while out on bail. Keating also told Ziminski that he couldn’t go near any of the locations of the ATMs. Ziminski responded, “I don’t got $100 grand, I’m not going anywhere.”

Kelly didn’t want us to photograph her at first, but then gave up holding paper in front of her face.

We asked Kenosha DA Graveley if he was going to give the Ziminskis a break again or send them to prison, he didn’t return our email.

  1. This happened in 2020 and just now being arrested? These clowns will get probation. Seems to be the trend

    1. “On August 26, 2022 at about 2:00am, a Kenosha Patrol Officer encountered a 54-year-old man, the alleged victim in this case.”

        1. They refer to the riot in August 2020; the ATM / kidnapping etc, was in August of 2022 – two years and a day later.

    2. No, see, they got arrested back during the riots and were going to plea out of the weapons and arson charge, but it came up during Kyle’s trial, so Binger said then and there that he’d prosecute. While they were out on bail for that, they got witness tampering charges. And while they were out waiting for trial on that, they got the present kidnapping charges.

So, this is crime spree #3 since the riots and they can’t seem to actually get through their trials without more crime. It’s no wonder they spent that night in Kenosha protesting the police and hanging out with Rosenbaum, the pedophile who charged Kyle and tried to take his gun before getting shot.

    3. No, this happened in August in 2022… the 2020 incident was from them being involved in riots in Kenosha, two separate things. The one they are in trial for in and pictures are from are from this year with the kidnapping and atm stuff.

    4. Where is CPS in all of this? Fire (stop voting for these idiots) these liberal prosecutors that value habitual criminals lives more than victims and your community

    1. Q: How does a DA get removed in our city?

A: There are a few ways but not all are available in every state or in every city/county.

      1) Easiest way, wait until the next election.

      2) Recall – recall is actually fairly tough because there group who wants to recall someone like a DA needs to have money to advertise and get volunteers out to populated area to ask for signature. The group must have a percentage of the cast ballots in that race. The percent changes by state and county.

      3) Governor can remove his/her State’s Attorney General, DA, and really any statewide official if those folks aren’t executing and applying the laws as their oath directs and they ultimately agreed. Instead they are cutting out the legislative branch who created and modify laws.

P.S. There have been discussions within the inner-orbit of Hochul’s advisors as to whether she can, remove the District Attorney or not. As NYC District Attorney Alvin Bragg further emphasized no cash bail policy as well as releasing any person who showed improvement or if more black, Latin\Latino\Latina.
Mayor Rudy Giuliani knew that small issues lead to larger issues. For example, if some one has a broken window and refuses to fix it becomes a blight on the human family. Once people see the value go down an apathy begins to grow. The broke down cars are being worked on using the streets and sidewalks. The ‘Auto Club’ leads to loitering which eventual to drug dealing, and dealing always pushes up all crime but especially violent crime but property theft jumps as well as people try to maintain their own safety and that of your family.

Good luck with whatever way you choose.

  2. yall need to pay attention
these two creeps- zimnimsky and his woman- first became infamous the night kyle rittenhouse became a hero.
zimimnsksky has been arrested several times and in and out of court since then for continuing to break the law and his woman in and out of prison since then for breaking the law.
but- gravely- the d.a. is the fellow responsible for allowing these felons to wreck havoc on the citizens of kenosha because he is a liberal like lunch box and the star trek guru who failed to convict my hero kyle rittenhouse.
the ziminmsky’s most recent crime spree just happened within the past month.
it is sad the law abiding citizens of kenosha are made to share the same realm with evil folks like this who are allowed to roam the streets freely. shame on the d.a., the judges who set the convicts free, and the folks who vote them into office.

  3. First off Zimanski you wouldn’t be separated from your children if you weren’t a criminal pos? you make me sick!

Secondly, Gravely quit being so lenient on white people?

They both need at least 20 in prison!!!! They are repeaters & wont stop?

    1. It’s too bad we can’t ask Rosenbaum about that. If you don’t remember, he’s the pedophile who got shot trying to grab Kyle’s gun, sparking that whole mess. These two were photographed together with Rosenbaum many times that night according to evidence presented at Kyle’s trial.

    1. I think I’ll be able to sue the Kenosha County I for damages for not saying that that link was far worse than adult in nature. It’s been a couple of days since I clicked on it and I am still blind and not interested in sex anymore?
