KCE Editor Sues District Attorney Michael Graveley For The Third Time – Looking For 3 Out of 3 Wins

KCE Editor Kevin Mathewson and Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley (D)

Kenosha County District Attorney Mike Graveley (D) told KCE today that he will not release secret documents outlining deals worked out between his office and illegal aliens that occured in secret, locked courtrooms.

After learning about this secret program created by Graveley, with the support of current DA candidate Carli McNeill (D), KCE asked for the last three months of these agreements. Graveley told us this morning that he will not be releasing the documents. He told us the program was designed to keep the high costs of interpreters down. He did admit that this program is only available to illegal immigrants.

Graveley and McNeill’s secret program dismisses criminal charges against illegal aliens. Illegal aliens who get caught driving without a license get a small fine, but no criminal record. No record at all, in fact, if Graveley gets his way.

We told Graveley that we will be suing him and he told us “Do what you have to do.” Well, we just did – just like we’ve done two other times. We beat you once, and twice, and will succeed a third time. Why Graveley would want to leave office in such an embattled manner is unknown and strange.

“The taxpayers have had to pay thousands of dollars to my attorney for the first two lawsuits and will have to pay me again. When I win this one, they pay for the third time. The taxpayers pay for Graveley’s arrogance, open defiance of the law, and his immature conduct,” said Mathewson. “It’s a shame. I don’t like taking money from the hard-working people of this state, but it’s necessary. It’s necessary to see how many illegal aliens got sweetheart deals, while tax paying citizens got criminal convictions.”

In our first lawsuit, Graveley petitioned Governor Evers (D) to represent himself, (DAs are represented by the Attorney General’s Office.) Evers allowed him to represent himself. Once we sued Graveley for the second time, Graveley’s permission to represent himself was seemingly revoked by the AG’s office and they handled the case. The Attorney General’s office then settled both cases by paying our legal fees, filing fees, and forcing Graveley to turn over the documents.

Graveley has 45 days to respond to the lawsuit from today, as he was served in person this afternoon. Here is a copy of the lawsuit.

Also included in our suit, was a request we made in May of this year, for the Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) of a woman. She has a previous OWI conviction and severe drug problem. This March, she was allegedly caught with dangerous drugs and Graveley didn’t charge her, but instead gave her a DPA that allowed her to escape the criminal justice system. Gravely denied us access to that document saying “why would anyone enter into a DPA if I release them to the public?” “Well Mr. Gravley, if you would have charged her, it would be on CCAP for anyone on the planet with internet access to see, so your argument makes no sense,” said Mathewson. We look forward to seeing Mr. Graveley in court, for the third time, here’s to three out of three, or in sports terms, a hat-trick.

Opinion: DA Graveley’s Sweetheart Deals for Brittany Mika Undermine Justice – It’s Time for a Reckoning

KENOSHA, Wis. – Brittany R. Mika, 31, has a criminal history that reads like a courtroom merry-go-round—except there’s nothing amusing about the danger she poses or the disgraceful leniency she has received under the former Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley. With about two dozen criminal cases and citations to her name, Mika has racked up a staggering list of offenses: violent outbursts, hate speech, resisting arrest, property destruction, illegal firearms possession, and serial violations of

  1. Good for you, Kevin. You should ask for damages this time. Maybe that would stick a pin into the huge balloon of arrogance that surrounds our DA’s office under Gravely.

      1. A great donation would be to the family of the teen hit by a car in Paddock Lake. That kid is seriously hurt and his family will need financial support

        1. They’ve already raised 26,000 for Reid Hansche. I would hope they have good insurance as part of Tom’s retirement package/pension from KPD.

        2. The FFL bill alone will be over $10,000 I would imagine!

There is also the Shalom Center with the homelessness population increasing, to some Domestic Violence organizations that seem to be in desperate need or even toward a mental health organization. There are unfortunately so many that could use assistance.

        1. They get hundreds of thousands of dollars every year from companies all over. All those donations are given to companies from individuals and the company gets a nice tax write off. If Keven plans on donating, I think it should be local. St. Judes gets PLENTY of money from everyone and the companions take all the credit for it as though THAT company is the one who gave it to them.

      2. Sharing Center- people dealing with homelessness and needing employment don’t have funding for licenses, birth certificates and escrow. It would be nice to have a funding resource that provides those things.

      1. He’s not forcing then to do anything because they are just paying his lawsuits and continue to do what they do its been this way and it will continue to be this way, i dont think the DAs office has ever followed the law only when it benefits them… i don’t ever see him talking when the DAs office railroads minorities, only for his skin color counterparts though…Way to Go Gravely keep pissing them off. 🤣🤣🤣

    1. Hello Anonymous. Thank you for not identifying yourself – it’s saving you from embarrassment and public shame. Please see Kenosha County Cases 21CV516 and 21CV893. Theses are the two cases I already won against the Kenosha County DA for trying to withhold documents illegally. You may call me a Karen, or Ken, I will call you the anonymous coward. I win lawsuits. If that makes me a Ken, or a Karen, I’ll strap that badge on with pride 🙂 Have a great day!

  2. Kevin speaks out against injustice ! Period !!
It doesn’t matter who you are.

This DAs office is an easy target because there are so many plea bargains and non charges happening these days. By these days I mean because of journalists like Kevin who report inadequacies in going after teachers and others, we know about more instances than we did before. I’m sure these things have happened before it’s just that we were unaware of it.

As for “just paying his lawsuits” Kevin has been clear he gets the documents he after, along with the cost it took to get them. I don’t think Kevin has ever received punitive damages.
These are nothing more than delay tactics because of the upcoming election.

    1. Simple answer is….. they never thought anyone would fight back….remember, they work for us, we don’t obey their bullshit

  4. Go get them KEVIN !!!! make it right, this is out of control, these DA think they can do anything they want.
How many times do we have to prove that are justice system in Kenosha is unfair and unjust,
KENOSHA STAND UP STAND WITH KEVIN DEMAND ANSWERS, YOU COULD BE THE NEXT VICTIM OF ARE DA OFFICE !!!!!!

  5. Don’t all proceeds to any victim of an Illegal alien in Kenosha county. I remember a few years ago David Beth did a skit of Frank Carmichael’s daily comedy show bragging about all the money the county makes housing Illegal aliens. Do they still house illegal aliens in Kenosha county jail?

  6. They lowered crimes for Disorderly conduct during the riots to tickets. And recently plea bargained and dismissed a Charge of Felon In Possession of a firearm 2nd offense. Something that should never be done. It makes you wonder what side they are really on.

  7. Want to expose Kenosha corruption and help men seek the justice they’ve been denied? Dig into this subject.
The DA’s office, at least one judge, and at least one “defense attorney” are dirty as mud in regards to men being falsely accused of DA/DV by serial accusers. The collusion between those entities and Family Court for the sole purpose of revenue generation is the stuff of crime novels. It matters not one bit that a man’s life has been ruined.
They ignore any and all evidence provided by the true victim and then protect the identity of the false accuser by affording them legal anonymity. Those accusers are free to repeatedly falsely accuse men ad naseum. No background investigation will reveal the number of times the false “victim” has repeated the exact same scenario.
The DA’s office and courts absolutely know when those serious false charges are being brought against innocent men but it’s all about revenue generation and their conviction numbers.
I’m an older law abiding survivor of exactly what I described above. What should have been dismissed on Day One wasn’t. The police ON THE SPOT awarded my home, two vehicles, and everything else I own to my accuser. My crime?… calling it quits with a liar, manipulator, thief, drug abuser, and serial cheater. We never lived together nor did she have any financial or legal claim to my home but the police gave her my home and the courts barred me from going back to it. My 21th hour “defense attorney” proved over time to be interested only in money, and remaining in good graces with the court. It took me 30 days to get back in my home. Something I had to accomplish on my own despite having “legal representation”. No less than 5 of my Constitutionally protected rights were arrogantly obliterated.
The illegal invader issue is understandably the hot topic du jour but it’s temporary. The judicial system in Kenosha won’t skip a beat continuing to run that scam against falsely accused men regardless of what else is going on. There’s just too much money involved for any of the players to follow the laws and Constitution.

  8. I know a man who is here illegally, and he has an ID from the state of Wisconsin. One day the state of Wisconsin just mailed him a real drivers license. Did not have to go to the DMV did not have to prove who he is did not have to prove where he lives. Only US citizens have to do that. He also brags about when he came here he got a free place to live, $800 A month in food stamps, free healthcare, and everything is free. I’ve had to work my whole life for what I’ve have. Democrats are going to vote for these people. The people aren’t going to vote, but their vote will be cast!

  9. Nice work KCE. Fuck Gravely he’s a liberal piece of shit like the rest of them. If he’s so sympathetic and eager to help illegals, how about he opens his own fucking house up to them! Not in a million years is my guess. All for votes and power. Hope he rots in hell.
