KENOSHA, Wis. — A 36-year-old Kenosha man with three previous drunk driving convictions is facing a new felony charge after police say he crashed his Jeep into a traffic signal, fled the scene, and later admitted to consuming approximately 10 shots of vodka. James Albert Hoffman III, 36, of Kenosha, appeared in Kenosha County Circuit Court on Monday, October 19, 2026, where Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum set only $500 cash bail. Hoffman is charged with fourth-offense operating while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle while revoked, and failing to install a court-ordered ignition interlock device.

Let me predict the future: on his 5th OWI, they will also cite him for “operating a motor vehicle while revoked, and failing to install a court-ordered ignition interlock device.”
