PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — A manufacturing company that has been in business for more than half a century is relocating from Kenosha to Pleasant Prairie, bringing its existing workforce of 19 employees and plans to create additional jobs.
Stainless Products, a manufacturer of stainless steel pumps, valves, fittings and other precision-machined components, received approval from the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission on Monday, October 19, 2026, to move its operations into an approximately 81,000-square-foot building at 10790 Green Bay Road.
The company, which was established in 1972, has operated for 54 years and currently employs 19 people. According to village officials, additional employment opportunities are expected once daily operations begin at the new location, although the company has not announced how many new positions it intends to fill.
The Plan Commission approved the company’s Site and Operational Plans during its Monday meeting. Village officials announced the approval Tuesday, October 20, describing the relocation as another opportunity to support economic development and employment within Pleasant Prairie.
The company is targeting occupancy of the building sometime this fall, meaning the relocation could take place before the end of 2026. The village confirmed that the Plan Commission’s approval represents the final step required for the company’s Site and Operational Plans to move forward.
Although the relocation represents another manufacturing business moving from the City of Kenosha to neighboring Pleasant Prairie, village officials did not disclose the company’s current Kenosha address, the reasons behind the move or whether its existing Kenosha facility will close.
Pleasant Prairie, a village of approximately 21,000 residents, has continued attracting manufacturing, industrial and logistics businesses because of its location between Milwaukee and Chicago. The addition of Stainless Products will further expand the village’s manufacturing sector while providing the potential for additional local employment opportunities.
Village officials have not announced a specific opening date for the new facility beyond the company’s anticipated fall 2026 occupancy.
