The United States Justice Department announced yesterday that a Kenosha woman was among 13 others who were arrested as a part of a drug conspiracy. Neighbors of Beckius, who lives on the 10000 block of 66th St, report hearing 8 gunshots just after 6am. We spoke to the Sheriff’s department who told us they were “flash-bangs”. Hear them on this video sent to us by a neighbor:
Beckius was indited on October 5, 2021 by a grand jury and the case was just unsealed today. She is being charged with conspiracy to traffic drugs, specifically, cocaine, and distribution of a mixture of drugs. The allegations in the indictment state that she has been trafficking/distributing since at least January of 2020. Beckius has an extensive criminal history with many drug charges and even has open criminal cases in State Court. US District Judge William Duffin has ordered all 14 defendants to be incarcerated until their first court appearance tomorrow, Friday at 9am.
