People on social media expressed how confusing this was. “It should be KSD or KCSO,” one

  1. “Under the influence of an illicit substance” is awfully vague. I’m concerned but will withhold judgment until there are more details.

    1. Illicit ;
      adjective
forbidden by law, rules, or custom.
      “illicit drugs”

Just what was the Substance ?

Inquiring minds want to know !

  2. In government, here it’s a school, they always say that they will not/can not talk about the situation because it’s a “personal issue”.

We the taxpayers pay these salaries. Period !!

We ARE the Bosses. Albeit behind the scenes.

Still, can someone tell me why we are “not allowed” to know ?

    1. If you received the email and read it thoroughly, it sounds more that a staff member was at an after school event and may have been under the influence of something that is not allowed under the school’s code of conduct. Also, with KSD saying it was a “mental health call” it more than likely is a “personal matter” and they are just letting the parents of the students know because it happened on school property. Also, the email never stated he or she so I am wondering if the author of this article is assuming it is a male or knows more than the parents.

      1. The Devil is in the details.

This story lacks facts. Was it intentional ?
Recreational ? Was the person impaired by mistake ? Was an ambulance called ?

Or just escorted off the property because …..

Anything Chargeable by law deserves public revelation. And it should be forthcoming, not needing to be requested by FOIA

    2. Because we really aren’t the bosses, we are merely the financiers. Long ago, School board meetings became packed with friends, family’s, and active teachers. Everyone else was drowned out or iced out from any real participation. The entire audience basically became robotic Tony Evers.

  3. Always enjoyed listening to Miss Vicki’s husband sing “Tip Toe Through The Tulips” in falsetto. Big hit.

Salem, WI. Teachers aid fired for alleged rape(s) of children, Special Ed. teacher allegedly “high” at high school. Friendly fireman allegedly flying drones over and filming Salem Lakes hoarders.

    Kevin, what next? (Stay tuned).

  4. And then they call us weirdos for wanting to homeschool our kids. KUSD is littered with pedos and crazies. I’ll take my kid being a bit less socialized to these people than worrying about them being exposed to this.

  5. The scary part is there’s probably more than just this 1 teacher under the influence.
Drugs run rampant in today’s society. Weed, gummies, prescription mood-altering crap all highly encouraged these days.

  6. I’m under the influence of an illicit substances on a daily basis.
I also love Tiny Tim’s “Tip Toe Through The Tulips” mentioned above.

      1. Hey Joel. How has your week been going? Are you still sad your big bad elderly neighbors have a Trump sign? 😭

        1. Not good so far. Lost my job at the restaurant. Also, that big sign was actually Orange County banking executive Eric Hovde running for Senate in Wisconsin.

          1. Actually, That sign makes me happy! I love the new Trump signs too, it will add to the victorious November day.

  7. I am tired of the vagueness and lack of transparency which isn’t always fair to the taxpayers or the person involved. I know a person who collapsed after a drug reaction and when the police were called was argumentative and cited. Turned out their doctor earlier in the day prescribed a drug that he never should have and a pharmacy filled a prescription that should have caused its computers to flash red. A case like that is different that someone taking a hit off a crack pipe or bong in a school parking lot.

    1. It’s a little early to be making complaints like that, this isn’t a TV show where mass murderers can be arrested, have trials, and be incarcerated in 60 minutes minus commercials. Give it time, the details will come out, and in the meantime if there was some kind of real danger, it would be different.
