The suspect from [Thursday’s] media release has been identified as 24-year-old Pleasant Prairie resident, Brandon L. Wilson. Earlier today, KPD detectives, members of our Special Investigations Unit, and a Pleasant Prairie police officer responded to Brandon’s home where he was taken into custody. While attempting to arrest Brandon, he resisted. Brandon is being held in jail. He has been charged with 2nd degree sexual assault (use of force), Resisting and Disorderly Conduct. The Kenosha Police Department would like to thank the Pleasant Prairie Police Department for their assistance today. We would also like to thank Carthage College for their assistance during this investigation. Finally, we would like to thank everyone in the community, including the media, for helping us to identify Brandon.

On November 13th, 2024, at around 11:40 PM, the suspect approached a female Carthage College student and sexually assaulted her on the campus of Carthage College. The suspect also gained unauthorized access to a Carthage College educational building. Carthage College staff confirmed that the suspect was not a student.
The suspect made comments regarding Urbana, Illinois, leading the victim to believe that he may be from Illinois. After sexually assaulting the victim, the suspect fled on foot, eventually leaving campus in an unknown vehicle in a southbound direction. The suspect is 5’7” tall, male, tan skin, and approximately 20-25-years old.
The Kenosha Police Department needs the public’s help identifying this suspect. If you have information that may assist Det. Daniel DeJonge please contact the Kenosha Police Department at 262-605-5203.

Carthage is not a secure campus, and they downplay incidents like this. After the assault in May,2024, we learned only one of the entrances has cameras. That non-student assaulter also got into the school building. Tried to talk to Swallow, but he refused to meet with us.
Carthage has always hidden the crap that occurs there. They think the Clery Act does not apply to them. They only report things if it affects the “rich kids” or makes them look bad.

Yes, they are a very arrogant school.But none the less as much as they charge for tuition you would think they would have better security.Everyone has cameras nowadays. It’s essential for safety…unfortunately.
