PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — A 50-year-old Waukegan man has been charged in Kenosha County after authorities say he was caught with fentanyl and drug paraphernalia while walking along Interstate 94 late Wednesday night.

(Kenosha County Sheriff)
According to the criminal complaint, a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper spotted Juan G. Cornejo Herrera walking on the northbound shoulder near Highway 50 around 11:45 p.m. on August 20. When contacted, Cornejo Herrera produced a Mexican Consular ID and told the trooper in broken English that he was walking to Waukegan.
The complaint states Cornejo Herrera admitted he had been smoking and displayed a glass pipe. Instead of complying with the trooper’s request to place the pipe on the squad car, he allegedly threw it into a ditch. Deputies later found a bag of white powder in his wallet that tested positive for fentanyl, weighing about 0.001 pounds. The recovered pipe reportedly contained drug residue.
Cornejo Herrera is charged with possession of narcotic drugs, a Class I felony punishable by up to 3 years and 6 months in prison and a $10,000 fine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor carrying up to 30 days in jail and a $500 fine.
At his court appearance Thursday, Court Commissioner William Michel II set bail at $1,500 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 29.

Another degenerate Biden, Harris, and the rest of the democrat crime cabal let flood into the country.
Who is letting them in now?
California.
Perhaps someone could kindly ask the Governor of Illinois why he insists on allowing them to reside there. After all, he generously provides them with driver’s licenses and shelters—convenient hubs, it seems, from which they are recruited to engage in shoplifting across our county. I can’t help but wonder whether those Illinois driver’s licenses even hold any validity outside the state, though our county, in its infinite wisdom, appears quite content to accept them as if they do.
Return that wretch to the place from which he came. Just gave a quick call to the local ICE unit to connect them with this story- we’ll see where that goes.
