KENOSHA, Wis. – A Kenosha County inmate is facing felony charges after allegedly spitting on two corrections officers and threatening to kill one of them during a disturbance at the Kenosha County Detention Center.

(Kenosha County Sheriff)
Cornelius Kwesi Jackson, 32, has been charged with two felony counts of assault by prisoners and six misdemeanor counts of violating state or county institution laws, according to a criminal complaint. Each felony count carries a maximum penalty of three years and six months in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.
Prosecutors allege Jackson spit on two officers on Aug. 21 after becoming irate and refusing orders in a shower area. One officer reported that Jackson was speaking to people who were not present and threatened to kill her before spitting on her face and neck. Another officer said Jackson later spit on him as well, striking his forehead, cheek, and eye.
Deputies reviewed body camera footage of the incident, which they said showed Jackson shouting, kicking a door, and disregarding orders. Jail officials also cited him for multiple rule violations, including threats to staff and projecting bodily fluids toward them.
Jackson appeared in court Thursday wearing a protective spit hood. His defense attorney raised concerns about his competency, and the case has been referred for a competency hearing scheduled for Sept. 8 before Judge Heather Iverson. Bail was set at $5,000.

How ironic! I bet he never thought he would be wearing a white hood!
It’s still before Labor Day.

LOL… that youtube is hilarious!
Definitely, straight out of the trees. Belongs in the zoo or deported to the jungles of Zimbabwe to rejoin his own kind. Rational civil society cannot accommodate wild animals running free on our streets.
Not a truer word spoken!
