This guy needs some serious help in his mental health.
He needs mental health help not jail. Him along with many others, the jails have become holding areas for mentally ill. Staff isn’t equipped to deal with them, especially when dealing with other inmates or multiple inmates in mental health crisis. Coming from someone who has grown up with this guy he’s gone from some family problems to full blown mental health issues I can’t diagnose as I’m not a professional however this guy has been spiraling downward for years. After his family left he’s only gotten worse.
I agree, we lack in mental health resources. Jails and prisons are not trained or equipped to deal with individuals who have issues like this.
