But they gave raises and our property taxes will go up. Makes sense
Although I believe the school district is out of control and in need of a cleansing, is anyone going to raise a red flag on kids being “home schooled”? Who has those numbers or checking in on their curriculum? I bet a great number of the kids aren’t even being taught??? Relying on parent to do the teaching??
As a homeschool mom, fear not- we are doing a FANTASTIC job.
I can guarantee those children who are being homeschooled will score better on whatever test you give them in the coming years. I was told I couldn’t teach 35 years ago. Three of my five children have at least one college degree; the other two learned to trade. They are all self-sufficient. Before You cast dispersions on homeschoolers perhaps you should make sure the kids in this District can read and write. There may be more homeschoolers thank God, but I would go back and see how many people are no longer having children, they’re having pets; or how many of them killed the children by abortion. What did you think was going to happen?
It’s “aspersions”.
An easy mistake.
90% of public schools have been some version of garbage for the last 35 years.
Keep up the work.
Seems like you’re confusing “home schooled” kids with the 2 year period where teachers and their terrorist union leadership REFUSED to work during covid.
“Home schooled” kids actual kept learning unlike the public schools kids who were left on their own for 2 years.
Yep.Those homeschoolers just looked at it just like any other day. No stressed out mom and dads and STILL got a full day of learning done in 2-3 hrs time. Unlike public schools that keep them for 8hrs and they still can’t form a sentence. No loss of school days and no loss of oxygen to the brain. Homeschoolers are best!!!
Homeschoolers are THE best!
KUSD will say we need more schools and higher salary for all postions.
KUSD
We need new schools
More employees and higher wages
Can’t make this stuff up
What comes next is a request for another referendum, and since this community continues to add more left wing nuts to the board there is no chance they don’t vote to go forward. Someone suggested homeschooled children are the problem. Currently, out of over 400 schools 9-12, Reuther is fourth from the bottom with 5% proficient in reading and math. Bradford, ITA and Tremper are all in the bottom 65% to 80% percentile. In 2014 we had 23,000 students, today we are under 18,000 but we have very similar numbers of teachers and administrators. Make it all make sense.
Probably because the EBT bandits are losing there benefits. Less kids same money. More kids. No more money.
