SALEM LAKES, Wis. — A man was found dead on railroad tracks behind the D’Railed Bar & Grill Tuesday afternoon in what authorities say was a clear suicide.
According to Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Chase Forster, the agency’s public information officer, deputies were dispatched at 12:58 p.m. to the 9600 block of Camp Lake Road after people nearby reported hearing gunshots and seeing a man bleeding near the tracks.
Radio traffic reviewed by Kenosha County Eye shows fire and rescue units were initially dispatched for a 40-year-old male with a gunshot wound on the railroad tracks behind the Derailed Bar & Grill. Deputies quickly requested that rail traffic be shut down due to the proximity of the scene, and responders staged while the area was secured.
Forster said deputies and detectives responded and determined there was no threat to the community. The gunshot wound was self-inflicted, and the incident was determined to be a suicide. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Medical Examiner was requested to respond, consistent with radio traffic indicating no transport to a hospital and the handling of the location as a death scene rather than an active medical rescue. Authorities said no criminality is suspected. The incident remains under investigation.

Our 988 is a joke. They don’t care. They just “listen” and nod … no compassion. Another mill. Heavy geared toward women.
