KENOSHA, Wis. — The Kenosha Unified School District will host its 68th annual Band-O-Rama on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at Indian Trail High School and Academy, bringing together nearly 1,400 student musicians from across the district for a daylong celebration of music.
The longtime district tradition will feature two performances, one at noon and another at 6:30 p.m., in the school’s field house at 6800 60th St. The event showcases student bands from KUSD elementary, middle, and high schools, highlighting the scope of the district’s music education programs.
Tickets for field house seating are $10 per person, with a maximum of three tickets per purchase, and must be bought in advance through the district’s website. Tickets will not be sold at the door, and seating may sell out ahead of the event. The performances will also be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel, and viewers may watch the live stream for free in the Indian Trail auditorium without a ticket.
This year’s guest conductor will be Dr. Erika Svanoe, a composer and conductor based in the Twin Cities area who currently serves as the University of Wisconsin–Stout Symphonic Band conductor.
Participating directors represent schools throughout the district, including Bradford, Harborside Academy, Indian Trail, Tremper, Bullen Middle School, Lakeview K-8, Lance Middle School, Mahone Middle School, Ruth Harman Academy, Washington Middle School, and multiple elementary schools.
Additional information about the event is available through the district’s fine arts department.
