Wow. Nurses who get fired for stealing drugs and then rehired back, another nurse busted for domestic abuse and drug possession. Sounds like a great place to bring your loved ones SMH.
It is a horrible place. My mother was there for rehab after a fall and I literally had to bring bottles of water from home to her. She couldn’t even get them to bring a glass of damn water to her. There were holes in the walls that looked like a 5 year old patched them up. She lasted 4 days before I got her out of there. What’s really messed up, I took her out of there on a Friday. They called me up on Saturday around 2pm asking if I knew where my mother was. I said if you lost my mother I’m suing you and the home. The phone was hung up right after that comment. They didn’t even know she was signed out and that I had already cleaned out her belongings. So I’m guessing they never even went in her room to even check on her.
That place was terrible going back 10 years ago. In general the place was not well maintained or clean. My mother there and the there was a bathroom leak which sent water into the beds area. No safety cones out or willingness to get my mother into another room. It wasn’t fixed for days. The bedcover was so thread bare that you could see your hand through it. The nurse administering drugs seemed to be under the influence of some kind of drug. She did not smell of alcohol, but there had to be something in her system creating the strange behavior/movements and inability to focus and organize the drug cart. I got my mother out of there and to a better location ASAP.
Hard to believe they can pass state inspections.
They need to close that dump. My friend was there for rehab it was awful,lazy nurses and aides.
You should do a deeper dive on this place and get in contact with some of the residents or people who work there. I’ve heard a lot of awful things about this place and what goes on there.
