Let me be very clear: Kenosha County Eye accurately reported information contained in publicly filed Kenosha County Circuit Court records and a sworn criminal complaint. You are, in fact, charged with a felony. The criminal complaint filed April 22, 2026 charges you with knowingly operating a motor vehicle while suspended causing great bodily harm, a Class I felony, along with three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
The article reported the allegations as allegations, identified the source as the criminal complaint, and accurately described the pending charges, court date, alleged crash circumstances, alleged injuries, and your pending bond cases.
Others have threatened or attempted defamation claims against me in the past. They have not prevailed when the reporting was based on official records, court filings, and accurately attributed allegations.
I would also strongly suggest, based on my experience as a criminal defense investigator, that you reconsider making public comments about your pending criminal charges. Publicly arguing the facts of the case, disputing the crash, discussing your license, insurance, or alleged conduct, and making statements online can create problems for you and your defense. Those comments are public, preserved, and potentially usable.
