SALEM LAKES, Wis. — Former Salem Lakes Assistant Fire Chief Michael Keske resigned from the Salem Lakes Fire Rescue Department after Fire Chief Al Carr concluded that his trust in Keske had "all but diminished" and indicated he was considering formal charges that could have led to his removal from the department.

Should of just fired him on the spot than waste more of our tax payers money on useless people who are known problems and poor leaders. Good thing they got rid of the other useless poor leader also. Now they both can sit unemployed. The department needs to save their money to pay the salaries of their employees they can’t pay for already. Over 100k a year. Where is that money coming from. I refuse to have my taxes raised for this!!
They wasted our money on the dog and money show of looking for a new chief only for the existing on to change his mind. 🤦♀️
You aren’t going to refuse anything. You’re going to do exactly as they say like the coward you are.
Who do you think you are. I speak up for things are not right. Where do you think that money is going to come from. They are either raising our taxes right away or they are going to have to take out loans or something to pay them and then when it comes time to pay them back they raise our taxes. Go to the board meetings, voice or concerns. That’s how you get things done. If not, you get Kevin on the case.
So tired of the same deal where teachers, first respondors, etc. Get to jump ship and get jobs elsewhere with other forces & school systems because the investigations/terminations get dropped.
You get what you pay for. If you want high quality employees and the ability to attract talent from other agencies, departments, districts etc…you have to pay them and offer something to look forward to. Instead, Kenosha County only attracts garbage from other places that cannot cut it. Kenosha County is the lowest paid and offers no incentives to stay and retire from Kenosha County such as retirement health insurance etc….This is why good employees leave for greener pastures and all we have left is everyone else’s rejects. So until the County Exec., County board and company start caring about employees, this website will have an endless supply of stories dealing with crappy employees.
Oh stop, Salem lakes is a pit stop.
Jill, where are you gonna go?
“All but diminished?” What is even supposed to mean?
Probably go beg and cry for a job somewhere. Maybe have to resort to a private ambulance somewhere where no one knows her history or go back to her nursing job
Salem Lakes seems like a shitshow considering it’s like two subdivisions and a gas station.
This is what happens when you listen to people who put themselves on a pedestal. They throw themselves off.
