You get what you pay for. If you want high quality employees and the ability to attract talent from other agencies, departments, districts etc…you have to pay them and offer something to look forward to. Instead, Kenosha County only attracts garbage from other places that cannot cut it. Kenosha County is the lowest paid and offers no incentives to stay and retire from Kenosha County such as retirement health insurance etc….This is why good employees leave for greener pastures and all we have left is everyone else’s rejects.
