KENOSHA, Wis. — Kimble B. Menard Jr., 36, of Rockford, Illinois, is charged in a new felony case stemming from an alleged June 19 incident in Pleasant Prairie. Klowatyj is being identified because she is also a defendant in other serious criminal allegations arising from the same investigation. Prosecutors allege Menard falsely imprisoned Klowatyj, took her Ford Escape without permission, led police on a dangerous chase through a soybean field, crashed into a squad car and utility pole, and possessed drug paraphernalia. Court records show Menard also has multiple other criminal cases pending in Wisconsin and Illinois.
