KENOSHA, Wis. — A French teacher told Kenosha Unified School District investigators that he believed Indian Trail Assistant Principal Mercilie Toney was asking him to “do her son a favor” by helping the student obtain French credit for a semester in which he was not enrolled in the class. Superintendent Jeffrey Weiss later told Kenosha County Eye that the allegations were deemed “unsubstantiated,” but none of the records released by the district include any final findings, investigative conclusion, or explanation supporting that determination.
