RACINE, Wis. — A Walworth County judge overseeing the John Doe petition filed by Kenosha County Eye has taken the unusual step of ordering two law enforcement agencies to turn over their complete, unredacted investigative files after Racine County District Attorney Patricia Hanson declined to criminally charge Racine County Sheriff's Deputy Emil Ortiz with Felony misconduct in office based on allegations of illegal use of FLOCK.

Will the flock info be included in this? That’s kinda weird if the cop isn’t supposed to search/view it but KCE can view it?
The discipline/investigation totally, that should be open records always.
I had a flock account as an officer, and they warned us that it’s is not for personal use, as is any other information database. And if I was used for personal use, you’re subject up to and including firing/charges.
Kinda hard to forget- uncle same is watching everyone in flock, but they’re watching Flo k users too….
I don’t believe you were ever a cop if you think KCE can search/view FLOCK cameras.

These flock cameras need to go! I bet he is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to police abusing them.
… if in a perfect world Flock is only used to find kidnapped children and kidnapped young women who are being abused by men who were never taught to respect them, I think flock has a purpose in the world going forward. Even the occasional bank robber.
But ! Any violation in the use of these surveillance systems needs swift and severe punishment !!
That is because the abuse of these systems is almost solely to track these same women by these same men who were never taught to respect women who just so happen to wear a badge and a gun !!
No every cop or even most of them, but it’s the cop mentality of wanting to be the one who tells others what to do that leads these uncontrollable men to have such low self esteem that they feel that the only way they can feel “good” is by being in control of “their woman”.
And once these misguided females who’s only mistake was not recognizing the controlling mentality of these abusive men early enough in the relationship to end it, then the resulting abuse happens.
It’s these cops who are so warped that they need to be sent to prison.
Let’s face it ! While Flock may be removed here and there, overall it is the future. So we need to get with every politician from local village to county to state and federal representatives to make abuse of Flock and other databases punishable by years in Prison !!
If we can’t stop the future of surveillance then we need to get a hold of the laws that control it. And that means punishment that fits the crime !
These men cops are warped in their own heads to think this is OK. And that’s the type of cop that needs to be stopped !!
Putting them in prison where that population can deal with women abusers in their own way is the deterrent that prison is supposed to be
If you use Flock for personal reasons, you go to prison. Period
