KENOSHA, Wis. — Judge Jason A. Rossell on Wednesday sentenced an Illinois woman to 20 days on work release after she admitted to driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 16 in her vehicle. Kaitlyn A. Krigers, 37, of Richmond, Illinois, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated with a minor child passenger, a conviction that critics say continues the Kenosha judiciary's pattern of relatively light sentences in repeat OWI cases and cases involving intoxicated drivers who endanger children.
