Kenosha Family Asking Community For Help After Man Undergoes Emergency Open-Heart Surgery

KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha family is asking the community for help after Cole Tomassetti suffered a catastrophic medical emergency that nearly took his life and required emergency open-heart surgery.

Tomassetti’s wife, Ashley Tomassetti, said her husband was rushed into surgery after suffering an aortic dissection — a dangerous condition involving a tear in the body’s main artery carrying blood away from the heart.
