KENOSHA, Wis. — The Kenosha County Teen Task Force is inviting the community to get into the Halloween spirit with its Haunted House at Kemper Center, offering both a family-friendly experience for younger children and a scarier nighttime attraction.
The Haunted House will be held Oct. 3, 10, 17 and 24 in the Faulkner Building at Kemper Center, 6501 Third Ave.
Kiddie Hour With The Lights On
From 6 to 7 p.m., younger guests can experience the Haunted House during “Kiddie Hour,” when the lights will remain on.
This year’s Kiddie Hour theme is “Sanitarium.”
Lights Out At 7 P.M
From 7 to 10 p.m., the lights go out and the full Haunted House begins, with organizers warning visitors to “enter at your own risk.”
The attraction is designed and operated by members of the Kenosha County Teen Task Force, a group of local teenagers focused on creating fun and safe activities for the community. The teens are responsible for everything from designing the sets to providing the scares.
The Haunted House is one of the Teen Task Force’s largest projects of the year, with proceeds helping fund future events and programs.
Concessions will also be available for purchase.
Tickets are available at the door and cost $10 for ages 10 and older and $5 for ages 9 and younger. Children ages 3 and younger are admitted free.
The Faulkner Building at Kemper Center is located at 6501 Third Ave. in Kenosha.
