KENOSHA, Wis. – A 26-year-old Kenosha man is facing a felony and two misdemeanor domestic abuse charges after police say he prevented his wife from leaving their apartment, dragged her through the residence while covering her mouth as she screamed for help, and grabbed her neck. Joyal Joseph, 26, of Kenosha, appeared in Kenosha County Circuit Court on Monday, October 19, 2026, where Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum set $2,500 cash bail. Joseph is charged with felony false imprisonment, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, all with domestic abuse modifiers.
