KENOSHA, Wis. – A 54-year-old Kenosha man accused of repeatedly threatening to kill his 83-year-old mother, pointing a loaded-or-unloaded revolver inches from his sister's head, and abusing his German Shepherd is being held on $150,000 cash bail following an hours-long SWAT standoff last week. Philip John Mianecki, 54, of Kenosha, appeared before Supplemental Court Commissioner Aileen Henry on Friday, October 16, 2026, where he was charged with 10 criminal offenses, including five felonies. Prosecutors say Mianecki was ultimately discovered hiding in a secret basement room behind a concealed door after Kenosha Police SWAT officers deployed a flashbang distraction device.
