KENOSHA, Wis. — Jose Daniel Alvarez-Nunez, 27, of Kenosha, appeared Friday, October 23, before Court Commissioner Daniel E. “Catch & Release” Kellum on four felony charges stemming from an alleged street race that left multiple people seriously injured. Although courthouse observers were surprised Kellum required cash bail at all rather than granting no-cash bail, he slashed by half the $50,000 bail Judge Jason A. Rossell had set when issuing the arrest warrant, setting cash bail at $25,000.
