PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — Thomas A. Polk, 57, of Pleasant Prairie, is facing two criminal misdemeanor charges after prosecutors say he pushed his girlfriend to the ground, struck her multiple times, and forcibly took her cellphone to prevent her from contacting police. Polk, who was already on probation, appeared Wednesday before Kenosha County Court Commissioner Daniel “Catch & Release” Kellum, who granted him no-cash bail despite the allegations of domestic violence and victim intimidation.
