Griffin D. Bollendorf is reportedly being investigated for a serious felony matter in Racine County, but Racine County DA Patricia Hanson and her Deputy, Dirk Jensen won’t say why it’s taking them more than five months to issue charges.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Sunday, October 1, 2023, at approximately 3:07 am, a Deputy with the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office, was on patrol and observed a white Volkswagen hatchback cross over the white fog line and strike a curb. The Deputy continued following the vehicle and the vehicle veered across the yellow center, leading to approximately a quarter of the vehicle in the oncoming lane while navigating a curve.

The driver accelerated rapidly, causing the tail end of the vehicle to swing over the yellow center line and the wheels squealed on the pavement. The Deputy activated his emergency lights and siren, but the driver continued driving at an approximate speed of 50 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed and the Deputy continued following the vehicle with his lights and siren activated. The vehicle again crossed over the yellow center line of the road so approximately half of the vehicle was in the oncoming lane. The vehicle’s speed was noted to be 80 MPH in a posted 50 MPH zone. The driver continued to fail at maintaining his position in the lane of traffic. The vehicle crossed over the yellow center line again. The Deputy advised Menominee dispatch of the vehicle’s displayed registration of GRIF629. The vehicle reached speeds of 84 MPH near Highlands Road. The driver slowed to speeds of 62 mph and was traveling in the gravel shoulder.

The pursuit continued into Oconto County. Approximately two miles into Oconto County, the vehicle stopped on its own, after a 9.5 mile pursuit. A high-risk vehicle stop was completed and the two occupants were detained.

The driver was identified as Griffin D. Bollendorf [DOB 06-29-1998 W/M/A] by Wisconsin Driver’s License. The Deputy observed the strong odor of an intoxicating beverage emanating from Bollendorf. He placed Griffin in the rear of the patrol cruiser and he waived his Miranda Rights. Griffin stated he was “driving home” when asked why he failed to stop for emergency lights and siren. Griffin stated he was going to his lake house in Keshena. When the Deputy asked Griffin if he had been drinking, he motioned his head in a ‘no’ fashion. The Deputy inquired why he could observe the odor of intoxicants emanating form him, Griffin replied “you say you can smell it on me”. He asked Griffin if he would be willing to complete field sobriety, which he refused.

Due to Griffin refusing a legal blood draw, police transported Griffin to the Menominee County
Sheriff’s Office until a search warrant could be obtained. A search warrant was drafted and signed for Griffin’s blood.

Griffin was transported to ThedaCare Medical Center- Shawano for a legal blood draw. Upon arrival at the Shawano County Jail, Griffin started to become uncooperative with the Jail staff’s questions and commands. Griffin and the Deputy stepped into another room for him to calm down and staff could finish going through the citations and OWI paperwork.

Griffin had court today, where a court commissioner set his bond at $2,500 cash. Bollendorf’s attorney is Ted Kmiec. In fact, Kmiec borrowed several thousand dollars from Bollendorf a few months ago to pay for his son’s bail.

Of course, neither DA Hanson, nor DDA Jensen responded to a request for comment.

  1. The charge the Racine DA is stalling on is rape.
Bollendork admitted to the rape via text.
The fact the Racine DA has not filed a case against him is very suspicious.
    Is Hansen corrupt or incompetent?

    1. Maybe because this charge was a lie and there was no evidence to act on, especially coming from a bitter ex-girlfriend.

    2. Why doesn’t “the victim” stop hiding behind a phone on a case that has nothing to do with her. And confess to all the dumb shit you’ve done in your life.

  2. I completely and confidently support that this man is in fact a loser, a drunk, a creep, a low life, insecure man. I hope all of his “friends” who like to ignore what an actual terrible human being his will see this and try to ignore it as well.

  3. I met griffin at a Kenosha County food pantry last year, he was helping families in need. He had such a big heart and warm personality

    1. Billy Violent can present itself this way, too. It has also helped at food pantries. Doesn’t make Billy Violent any less of a gross, despicable individual.

  4. What’s disgusting to me is the amount of hate this poor girl gets for such a serious act.
Half of these comments are probably young girls who have never been put in that position. The DA is a terrible system and everything takes forever with them. How disgusting to sit and badger this girl on something that’s not even about her.
That mans a predator and these comments are dismissing such real issues.

  5. “Well I met him and he’s a good guy” yes, while out drunk driving with someone’s children, mother, father also on the road putting them at risk too. “He’s a good guy” until someone’s family member doesn’t come home.

  6. I am so sick and tired of our corrupt DA office, corrupt lawyers and corrupt judges. The number of honest legal personnel could be counted on just one hand. It is deplorable. And really, $2500 bond? Please. No wonder we have so much recidivism

  7. Dang Kevin, how to you get this information so timely? Well done.
As I’ve said before you need to keep an eye on Madison I think you’re under utilized..

  8. The fact that there is people defending someone who’s been arrested not once, but twice, for driving under the influence is messed up. It’s quite obvious he has little regard for others on the road.

  9. This dude kevin is out to get the kmiecs and its about time someone does. His article on trents (Teds Son) run ins with the law back in august deserves a Pulitzer. Anyone from the kenosha county/ Paddock lake area knows the stories that have come from that family and the inability for the law to touch ted and his son Trent. Teddy must have alot of info on some skeletons in very important peoples closets because his and mainly his sons legal history seemingly being overlooked time and time again is getting insane. I dont know many people who can get away with a highspeed chase ending in a crash when there is fentanyl and a loaded gun in the car (Fentanyl Patch litterally on his arm when they found him in the crashed car and drugs all over) after being aressted at least 3 times already, but his son Trent is an exception. Griffin (Who is close with trent) is not a good human being. I have heard of multiple derogatory comments about women and pure racism coming from his mouth as well as bragging about drunk driving. He deserves anything coming to him but i’m sure teddy will pull some strings and favors to magically make this go away like his sons multiple run ins with the law. I wouldn’t be shocked if there is a documentary about the kmiecs and the corruption one day. I know one thing, if you are in trouble with the law call teddy cause he seems like he can get anyones case dismissed… Time and Time Again. Nice work again Kevin!
