Jerry Gulley (D), 52 of Pleasant Prairie is relatively new to Kenosha. He is from San Francisco, CA but has also lived in Alabama and Tennessee. Gulley has been married to his husband James for the last 7 years and he is employed by a medical technology company in Chicago, IL.
He was elected to the County board in April of 2020 by a margin of only 13 votes.
Gulley is a far-left progressive democrat but is not widely seen as a candidate with a likely chance to win.
Gully has been sponsoring ads on Facebook in the last couple months and has told other board members that he is intending to announce his candidacy soon. He has also filed the nessecary financial paperwork to run.
Rebecca Matoska is the establishment Democrat that has already announced her candidacy for Kenosha County Executive. Most of the “good ole’ boy” Democrats have already pledged their support to Metoska even knowing that Gulley is announcing soon.
Kenosha County has voted for Donald Trump in the most recent two presidential elections – 2016 and 2020.
No other candidates have come forward yet, but it is still early.
***Update 7/16/2021 @ 1:52pm (Central)***
Gulley has spent $1,000 on a logo for his County Executive Campaign

Oh Boy!
Another liberal loser escaping the sinking ship Kalifornia.
Fleeing an area ruined by liberals to infect other communities with the liberal agenda. I guess his work there was done.
Sorry, exactly what evidence is there that Jerry Gulley is far-left?
Deleting comments is a bad look for this blog…
I’ll ask again, what evidence is there that Jerry Gulley is far-left?
Glad to have some diversity in Kenosha! There’s been too many people pretending to love America while blindly following an orange for too long. You can see from the other commenters how afraid they are of someone unlike them!
Send this liberal loon back to the Bay Area that him and Pelosi destroyed. We can’t let them destroy Kenosha like they’ve done to everyplace else they’ve infected.
Correction Bill. Kenosha has already been destroyed by liberal loons for way to long.
Binger did a double take. Bill R., when you say infected, infected with HIV? I’m asking because Zorro is correct.
