A 15-year-old high school girl doing school work, called her parents from the Kenosha Southwest Library on May 16, 2024 to report a suspicious man that made her feel uncomfortable. The child was at the library studying for her high school exams. She sat in the back, in the southeast corner. She was listening to music and studying for approximately 15 minutes, when she noticed a tall skinny black male moving around the bookshelves that were roughly 15-20 feet away from her. The male would mumble words to himself as he was doing it.

At one point, the male asked the child if she was comfortable with where he was standing. He then asked her if he could come closer to her, then pointed to a bookshelf that was only a few feet away from where he was standing. The child thought the way he asked the questions was weird and made her feel uncomfortable, so she told him to stay where he was. The male said “okay,” walked away, and then walked back towards her direction. He continued to mumble as he did so. At this point, the child texted her parents, asking how long before they arrived to pick her up.

The male then asked the child if she would tell “them” on him if he “came.” The male then pointed over his shoulders towards the librarians. While he was pointing, the child noticed that the man’s penis and testicles were hanging out the front of his pants. The child said she would tell on him, so he said “okay,” before walking away to leave. As the male walked away, his penis and testicles were still hanging out of his pants. The child then called her parents, asking them where they were.

The child stated she has never seen this man before her in life. The child further stated that the library was busy with a lot of people when she first arrived and it was when it became less busy with less people that the male started speaking to her. Officer Moore also noted that based on the child’s appearance, she was clearly a child and not an adult.

On May 17, 2024, the detective was assigned to follow-up on the case and responded to the library, where he spoke to a tech employee of the library. He was able to pull up surveillance video from May 16, 2024, and provided it to the detective.

In reviewing the surveillance footage, the detective clearly observed the child sitting at a table in the south area of the library. Near her was a black male in the DVD area of the library. The male could be seen on camera lowering the front of his gray sweatpants, exposing his genitals. He then uses a book to cover up his genitals. He then gets the attention of the child and removes the book, exposing his genitals to the victim.

The detective took still shots of the suspect’s face and sent them department-wide to assist in identification. The detective also utilized facial recognition software and uploaded the images of the suspect, which resulted in a 99.8% match to Jeremy D. Walker. Another KPD officer reached out to the detective and identified the suspect as Walker, who he had encounters with during the civil unrest as well as less than two weeks prior at the Kenosha Police Department. Another KPD officer also recognized the suspect and identified him as Walker, who he had contact with throughout his career with the Kenosha Police Department as well as while working at the Kenosha County Jail. Another officer had contact with Walker on May 19, 2024, and identified the suspect in the still images as Walker. Finally, on May 20, 2024, the detective reached out to Walker’s former probation agent and emailed him pictures of the suspect from the library. The agent advised that it appeared to be Walker.

On May 21, 2024 a $5,000 warrant was signed by Kenosha County Court Commissioner William Michel II and Walker was arrested on May 31, 2024.

Walker was part of a paid group of citizens known as the “violence interrupters” that was paid money by the City of Kenosha as a part of a grant, to work with police during and after the riots.

  4. Has Gravely outsourced this to another county since the defendant is black and the whole BLM worship thing?

  5. Let me start by saying that I’m surprised this guy had a warrant issued at all . Its a wonder that Gravely didn’t out source this case to another socialist prosecutor so he could maintain his BLM membership in good standing. I’m confident that the socialist entablement in Kenosha will turn out to support this poor man he has all of the credentials they look for in a person whom they can call one of there own . I mean so what if you cant allow your children to go to a public library and study without being molested. The socialist will just say he was expressing himself in a form that was expectable to himself and that society should not look down on his attempt to make new friends.
