Each count carries with it a minimum prison sentence of three years and a maximum sentence of 25 years. She faces up to 175 years behind bars. Although the mandatory minimum is three years, most Kenosha judges run multiple sentences concurrently, so the minimum is three years prison, regardless of how many convictions.

On August 16th 2024 a Kenosha Police detective was assigned a tip as part of her involvement with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The source of the tip was Amazon.

Upon reviewing other data provided by the informant, the Kenosha Police detective noted that the account owner where the photos were stored was Karly Ashmus, and that Ashmus had been a customer of the photo sharing platform since October 22, 2016.

Multiple photos of Ashmus’ driver’s license, social security card, and check stubs were located within the files. On November 26, 2024 a search warrant was executed at Ashmus’ residence. She was advised that there was a tip that was linked to her residence. Ashmus denied knowing of any reason why the Kenosha Police Department Internet Crime Against Children Task Force unit would have received the tip. She was asked if there would be any concerning materials on her phone and she stated “no, not that I can think of.”

An Officer asked her if she would be willing to speak with her about the investigation and she agreed to speak with police.

Ashmus confirm that she lived the residence with her ex-boyfriend in a duplex and another male lives in the lower half. While asking Ashmus for specific details regarding who all lives in the residence, the defendant asked the officer, “so, what was it, pictures or something,” referring to the cyber tip that police received. Before the officer could answer her, Ashmus said “sorry, I am just really concerned right now.”

Ashmus was asked if she views any type of pornography and she stated that she does. She stated that she uses a website to watch “girl on girl porn.” Police later found more child pornography including a video on Ashmus’ phone.

All of the photos and the video contained explicit photos of a mostly naked prepubescent young female child being fondled by an adult. In one of the videos, a young girl is heard crying and repeatedly screaming in high pitched voice, “please don’t hurt me” and ” please no!” while she was being raped.

Police confronted her with some of the images and Ashmus denied knowing where they came from but guessed that the girl in the photos appear to be 8 years old.

Ashmus is due in court again on December 17, 2024, for a preliminary hearing.

    1. No kidding, Amazon can’t tell me where my package went but can spy on everything you have on your phone. Creeeepppyyyy

      1. I’m honestly ok with web services and picture sharing apps/sites reviewing my pictures for heinous crimes against children. I have nothing to hide, and if screening pictures helps crack down on child sex abuse, I am all for it… and so should we all be.

      1. Yes, definitely AWS and the dumb bitch probably inadvertently backed up her device to the ‘cloud’. Which is essentially transferring child porn to another persons computer. lol She definitely isn’t the brightest, but the world needs bartenders too, I suppose.

        23
        5
    2. Amazon has a free service that allows you to backup your photos. Like Google & apple, I’m sure they scan pics for CP and refer to the authorities.

    1. She’s very innocent and this is bullshit and the cops are just fucking doing their job. The easiest way they can as I know her personally, and I know for a fact that somebody else uses her Google cloud and it could be very much somebody else that was borrowing her Google cloud that was actually watching the porn and not her so watch it..

      7
      25
      1. She is guilty as hell! They have been watching her so I’m sure they can prove it’s her! She has always been a weirdo. Whats even more disturbing is she would have her teenage disabled neice. I would be concerned if she did something to that beautiful child. She needs to rot in prison for what she has done. She is a nasty ass person.

    1. I want to pull off that bitches fingernails one by one and then do some Reservoir Dogs on her and cut her ear off and pour gas over it.

Being a father, this hurts my heart.

“ a young girl is heard crying and repeatedly screaming in high pitched voice, “please don’t hurt me” and ” please no!” while she was being raped.”

      1. You’re just as bad as her you should be in jail!! She’s innocent if you really knew her and what was going on!! It’s the cops fault with lacking on doing there job correctly!! Watch what I say!

        4
        18
        1. Lol. If you know her then you would know that she is a little druggie who lost her job for stealing last year. Soooo innocent.

          18
          1
  1. Final Inning is a huge drug house…..surprised there hasn’t been more investigation there.

I don’t know what’s more disturbing….the stuff she was looking at or the fact Amazon had info on this. Yeah, there is no doubt Amazon has shit in place to spy on you…..I’d be real careful. That company has gotten way too big.

        1. You would certainly care if hidden cameras took pictures of you and
somebody posted them in the internet.
Plus, add whatever caption they feel like adding.

          Fuck privacy though, right?
Not standing up for your own right to
privacy, also means you’re taking a stand
          against everybody else’s.

    1. It had to do with her being to nice and letting people borrow her Amazon account and her google cloud for more space for other friends!! You have no idea what is the real deal!!

      1
      15
      1. She’s still responsible for the content because it’s in her name! She was probably letting her POS ex-boyfriend use it along with the guy downstairs (who she’s probably fucking).

        15
        1. First of all the ex- boyfriend like that, I know him personally and he wouldn’t do anything like that and his phone was also searched along with the house and he was clean.

          1

  2. Her and people like her just need to come into contact with people with nothing to lose.
That’s about all there is to it.

    13

  3. Wow! Sick shit! But they can find her yet not the massive criminal who is raping a girl approximately EIGHT YEARS OLD??? 😡 What a sick world we live in full of Godless dumocratic libturds! She should be punished obviously but the asshole making the video needs to be executed!!!! GO TRUMP!

    19
    2
    1. Agree 100%, but if nobody viewed the videos would people still feel inclined to make them? To me it doesn’t matter if you are the ‘producer’ or the viewer. All should be slowly tortured to death.

      6
      1
  4. Went to school with her, always been kinda off. Sad thing is she probably grew up with it too, a nasty cycle. Hope we keep cracking down on it.

    7
    1
  5. This is the most upsetting thing I have heard about in a very long time. She should literally be executed, there is no other suitable punishment. I take issue with the author of this article mentioning the name of businesses that this monster works at. I can’t speak for Final Inning ownership, but the Lucci family are great people and they run a solid business. Their name should not be linked with this absolutely disgusting and evil behavior, as they are good people and are not involved in this in any way. I hope she is beaten to death in prison.

    9
    11
    1. “Luccis family” what a joke. The place is known as hangout for weirdo’s, thief’s and now pedos . Everyone from the bartenders to the owner steals from the customers. Owner likes to rip off customers with his gambling. Bartenders charge random amounts for same drinks. On another note I do hear that they have good open wifi signal.

      13
      6
      1. It’s always been known for loser drug addicts but now as a pedo bar. There used to be signs in the bathroom asking their customers to not do drugs in there. I wonder if there’s a new sign that says to not watch child porn

        11
        4
      2. This in no way should be any kind of indictment on Lucci’s bar…I have known AJ Lucci for close to 30 years…He is always friendly and welcoming any time I go in there..

        3
        9
        1. Then you should tell your friend AJ that he needs to publicly distance himself from the pedo and her defenders. He has a bad enough reputation and now he employs her number 1 supporter. Who in there right mind would support a business like that.

          9
          2
      1. Her sister should make sure she never messed with her handicap daughter js her sister is as messed up in the head as she is!

        7
        1
        1. That’s really scary, but you are right. She should involve a professional to work with any kids in the family that were ever alone with her.

    2. Haven’t been living in town long but already been warned to stay clear of that place. Got curious and checked it out. Wish I wouldve listened Pretty sure it was the pedophiles sister working and probably doesn’t realize you shouldn’t act like a ho when a mans wife is hanging on his arm. She shot her down and we had a good laugh after because who in thier right mind would touch that. Won’t go their again because of it. and wont support a business that support pedophiles

      9
      2
  6. The bar she worked at has become a shit hole use to be a ok place to hang out after work, however Eddie has ran it into the ground with the trash he has in there and the trash bag he is dating

  7. She is innocent and it had to do with her being to nice and letting friends use her Amazon account and her google cloud!! The cops just lack looking more into this and doing a good job!! If you know her you know she wouldn’t do this and kno the real reason for this!! And I innocent girl is going to jail for no reason!!

    1
    18
    1. You are sick if you think for one second she is innocent. STFU. People do not get arrested for this type of offense unless there is rock solid proof. You are just as sick and pathetic as she is. You are both cut from a seriously flawed DNA… crawl into hole you belong in… you sick POS!!!

      18
      1
      1. You’re probably the only sick pos in these comments with all your hate on this!! Don’t even know her? Or her family?? Or just what the stupid media has to say!! Go fuck yourself guy!! Find a better hobby!! If all you have is time to look on articles like this and make your nasty comments!!! Well then your probably the only sick fuck on here!!

        1
        15
          1. The person sticking up for this sick pedophile in these comments is the pedophiles sister Katie Jo. Why don’t you post under your real name, Katie Jo? You are just as sick as your sister if you are out here defending this.

            15
            2
            1. dont be shy! you’re trying to call her out (if it even is her) yet you yourself are still commenting anonymously. no one could ever make me hate her! i hope you choke on that tiny penis ur so insecure about!!!!

    2. You’ll never see your sick ‘friend’ in the free world again. I am sure there was a thorough investigation, and there is enough to charge her.

      14
      1
    3. Girl shut the hell up, we all know you’re either her sister or her friend. Either way if this was my family member or friend you could NEVER waterboard this information out of me, let alone catch me defending this shit. Granted it’s innocent until proven guilty I’ll give you that. But if I were you I would definitely be radio silent, because right now you’re looking just as fucked up as she is right now. But I suppose the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree does it? You’ll never be more than a white trash ho with a loose vagina and you cannot convince me otherwise 🫶🏻.

      10
      1
  8. Everyone quick to judge, I remember all the comments against Rittenhouse. No one can wait for the words guilty, or not guilty. She could have shared an account, she lives in the house with 2 others someone could have snatched her phone when she was sleeping. People that are saying they will do this or do that to her ok you see her what you going to do without getting yourself in trouble. Yes what was found is wrong to the max. Just wait for the verdict

    5
    8
    1. How dare you compare what this pedophile has done to the Rittenhouse case! You are an absolute sicko… I get you want to defend your sister… but you have gone too far this time.

      9
      5
      1. Sorry i was referring to the Rittenhouse comments how many wanted him dead there and then. Just chill dont tie the noose yet. Just wait for all the facts first. I’m sure you be satisfied with the outcome.

        5
        2
  9. To all the Commentors here who are itching to railroad, torture, and kill this woman :
Under the American justice system, there is a presumption of innocence. It is up to the Prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. This woman, if found guilty, will get her just punishment.

    5
    9
    1. Listen, she has charged with seven counts of child pornography. The people have every right to express their feelings on this. People don’t get arrested and charged with this for no reason. If she doesn’t want people to comment, then she shouldn’t have put herself in this position.

      12
    2. Go fuck your self, just being accused of such a horrific crime means you are scum. And for you to defend her, makes you scum also.

      12
  10. Kevin, the voicemail you received and posted sounds exactly like the accused person in this articles sister.

    1. That is not Katie who left that voicemail and if you knew her at all you would 100% know that was not her voice, not even close.

      4
      1
    2. It sounds close but I know that’s not her voice. To be honest I think I do know who’s it actually it the way she says “shit”

  11. I knew Karly growing up, the nicest person when you are talking to her. When I heard this news to me it was a slap across the face, and a stab in the heart. What the hell, you think you know a person.

  12. I’m sure the vids werent hers, she isnt sick and isnt a pedo. Havent seen the poor girl in 10+Years but she was always a sweetheart to everyone ( We dated for a few years)
Good luck with everything karly. Love ya.
