KENOSHA, Wis. — A 65-year-old Illinois man has been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct after allegedly making sexually inappropriate comments to teenage girls at Kenosha’s Harbor Market in May.
Michael D. Ferkin, of Gurnee, was charged Thursday in Kenosha County Circuit Court. He is scheduled to appear for his initial hearing on August 6.
According to the criminal complaint, Kenosha police officers were dispatched to the 5400 block of 2nd Avenue on May 10 after receiving reports that a man was making advances toward underage girls.
One 15-year-old girl told officers that Ferkin approached her and a coworker to talk about the band Nirvana, then stared at her friend’s chest and made a lewd comment referencing her braces in a sexual manner. She said the interaction left her in tears.
A second teen, 16, confirmed the remarks and said she made it clear to Ferkin that they were both underage. She told police she felt shocked and unsafe.
Multiple bystanders told officers that Ferkin had been making other inappropriate comments toward girls in the area. A man in a traffic vest reported seeing Ferkin seated at a picnic table, acting inappropriately around young employees.
Ferkin told officers he was talking about fishing and braces and denied making any sexually explicit statements.
Both counts filed against him are Class B misdemeanors, each punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Is there any difference between Jablowme and the suspect in this case? They are both creepy perverted old men. Jablowme condemns the perverts on this site. Yet, he chooses to use a perverted and creepy screen name. He ia actually exactly what he condemns. He is contributing to the downfall of our civilized society by normalizing crude and immature sexual banter. Mature and well-reasoned men don’t do that.
