Iowa Man Arrested in Kenosha County on New Warrants While Out on Bail for Weapons and Lewd Conduct Case

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. – A 35-year-old Iowa man already out on bail for serious weapons and lewd conduct charges was arrested Tuesday in Kenosha County on two new felony warrants.

Grant Gregory Golden, of Corning, Iowa, appeared in court Wednesday, where a commissioner ordered him held on $10,000 cash bail across both cases. He is accused of repeatedly violating a harassment restraining order and continuing to contact his ex-girlfriend despite being barred by both a court order and his bond conditions.

The Latest Allegations

Prosecutors allege Golden sent an email in June that read, “You failed. Your turn.” The woman told investigators the message made her fear for her safety. Authorities say the email violated a restraining order she had in place, as well as the bond conditions from his earlier felony case.

Golden is also accused of a series of contacts between December 2024 and March 2025, including another email, messages tied to a shared Google calendar, and even a calendar invite titled “Grant’s retirement anniversary.” The woman provided screenshots of the communications to law enforcement, who say they clearly breached the restraining order.

Prior Felony Arrest

Golden’s first run-in with Kenosha police came in January 2024. Officers responding to multiple 911 calls found him walking completely naked and bleeding from his hand on a Kenosha street in 39-degree weather.

Inside his nearby home, police discovered a short-barreled rifle, dozens of spent shell casings, and bullet holes riddling the walls and ceilings. Golden was charged with possession of a short-barreled rifle, disorderly conduct while armed, and lewd and lascivious behavior. The lewd charge was based on his public nudity in front of neighbors, who reported seeing him completely exposed as he walked through the residential area.

Court Hearing

At Wednesday’s hearing, bail was set at $5,000 for each of the two new cases. Golden is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on September 25.

Maximum Penalty

If convicted on all current charges in Kenosha County, Golden faces more than 26 years in prison.
