KENOSHA, Wis. — It’s a universal truth: most criminals aren’t very smart. At the Kenosha County Jail, every phone has a sign warning inmates that calls are monitored and recorded. Yet convicted child groomer Christian J. Enwright, apparently oblivious, spent hours ranting, scheming, and swearing into a monitored line — handing prosecutors a pile of evidence to use against him.
Assistant District Attorney Sarah Norkus filed the state’s response today, urging Judge Gerad Dougvillo to reject Enwright’s bid for work release. In her brief, she cited more than 500 calls Enwright has made since July, which show him blaming everyone else, belittling the victim and her family, and openly trashing the very judge who sentenced him.

He should have “contempt.” And he should have tried the case. Don’t bow down to the authorities, thinking you’re going to get a break for bowing and scraping. Put them all through a trial. All of them. The prosecutor, the judge, and the accuser. He should have made them pay for bringing ridiculous allegations. Even if he lost, which is a big IF, he’d get to tell his side of the story and the sentence wouldn’t have been any worse.
I can’t believe his wife is staying after reading how he talks to her… she has it 100x harder caring for newborn twins and a 2 year old. Man up and take responsibility for putting her in that situation, jack ass.
