PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — A Pleasant Prairie woman accused of leaving a friend’s toddler alone in a hot car outside Costco for nearly an hour is now wanted on a $2,000 arrest warrant after prosecutors asked a court commissioner to take her into custody.
Court Commissioner William Michel II signed the warrant on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, for Laura D. Fuentes Rativa, 36, after the Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office filed a charge of Neglecting a Child (Specified Harm Did Not Occur), a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to nine months in jail and a $10,000 fine.
