UNION GROVE, Wis. — Jake Wenzel, the Illinois felon wanted in connection with Sunday night’s shooting in Salem Lakes, was taken into custody Tuesday morning after a vehicle and foot pursuit involving Racine County Sheriff’s deputies.

He’s a criminal on the run whose mugshot has been widely circulated on social media for Kenosha County crimes. And decides to flee to (drum roll, please) Union Grove?! I’m glad for society most criminals are this stupid!

Just saw him on the TV getting chewed by two K-9’s in a field. He looked so cool with the cigarette hanging from your mouth while being bitten. What a tough guy. To bad the dogs are not trained to dislike smoke and ripped his face off. Would have been quite entertaining to see.
