I feel so terrible for these kids, RIP. They are gone way too soon. It just sounds like there’s a pretty toxic relationship between the parents.

Wow, this is a mess. I did see Mom’s interview on WISN. I was concerned when she repeated several times, it was all about her kids. That is what it is to be a parent. I agree with several responders. We should make sure the children’s funerals and burials are paid for. Hopefully, Dad has renters’ insurance. We need to focus on the children. Let the adults clean up their mess. It’s a horrible, bitter lesson to learn. I don’t think they should make any money from this tragedy.

The father was NOT home. The smoke alarms were disabled so they didn’t wake the kids.
Someone called the father and he came home to this tragedy.
