  1. Feel sorry for the parents. Kid is out of control. Cop shouldn’t have been suspended Just because he disrespects his parents doesn’t mean the rest of the world has to take his bullshit.

  2. This kid sounds like he has had entitlement his whole life! He should be sent off to military boot camp! They will shut him up. Maybe he can become a decent human being in the future! Parents don’t coddle and be parents that constantly rescue your children, this is the result you will get! They will crap all over you.

    25
    2
  3. … did the police run after the Kid ??

Was he breaking a law ?

So what that he ran from the home ?
Is that something the police should involve themselves in ? I think not.
Should the police involve themselves in retrieving the phone from the “child” ? I think not.

This was a “police officer” who was triggered because he saw himself as being able to.
Police should not involve themselves in a “disagreement” between parents and children unless one of them starts to get physical with another in a way to where a injury might occur including where a crime may be charged.

I don’t see any of that. This is just parents that lost control of their child. Sad but truly that’s all it was.

And an officer that gets between a child and his parents when no crime is alleged or witnessed is a fool. These parents would have been better served to have the officer explain to them that it is their parenting failure that created the current situation.

Cops are to intervene when a crime is afoot. Not to discipline a child in place of parents who won’t

    15

    1. For all the reasons above.

      Cops are for crimes.
      I don’t see a crime here.

This also is a failure of training.
Training of the officer by his superiors and training of the child by the parents.

      I blame the parents

      12
      9
  4. I swear it’s easier to be a criminal in America, than being a cop. Back in the day, most of Kenosha PD would have been suspended or fired (if we are living up to this bullshit standard). People are to soft nowadays. Cops are humans, I understand them being professional. But when you deal with crappy people all week long, you might fall short. That kid will go far in life with his attitude.

    27
    4
  5. Let him run out the door.
Once the kid realized nobody was coming after him he would have figured out on his own that he was in charge of himself. Then he would realize his actions have consequences. If the parents wanted him home at a certain hour they would have locked the door at that hour. The kid could then sleep on the lawn.

This is parents who don’t set boundaries. Not today or that night but many many years ago !!

Raise your kids. Don’t be their friends.
Parents are not doing their jobs

    17
      1. Please call the dipshit who made the racist comment a racist prick or racist ass. No reason to use a term used for 50 years to segregate people into institutions.

And I’m aware of the literal definition. However, that’s not how people use it. Be better than that.

    1. He chased down and beat down on a kid who wasn’t giving up his phone to his parents !

In what world is that a Crime ??

      You’re an Idiot

      8
      8
  6. This kid is tough until he’s not. I with the officer on this one. The parents couldn’t handle the kid so the officer did it for them. Great job officer, parents I hope you learned your lesson. Don’t call the police handle it yourself

    6
    1
  7. This Communist BS is the reason almost no one wants this job and why they fill positions with people with worthless degrees in social sciences.
Everyday the feminized left makes a cops job harder and harder.

    4
    2
  8. Words are an interesting thing. To some, a word is just another word: a title, or term of endearment. But that the same word, for others, can be a word of cruelty, hatred, and all the other awful things that can be felt. It’s all about context, even the worst word you all could think of, it’s about who says it, to whom it’s said to. and with what tone or emotion it’s said with.

  9. What do you expect when the police get away with violating peoples rights everyday? The KPD is a bunch of wild heinous cowboys. Glad at least one is finally being held accountable. Hopefully its a sign of things to come!
