TWIN LAKES, Wis. — A violent single-vehicle rollover crash in Twin Lakes on Saturday evening left seven people injured, including one person in critical condition, and prompted a massive emergency response from multiple Wisconsin and Illinois agencies.
Twin Lakes Fire/Rescue was dispatched around 5:40 p.m. for reports of a rollover crash. While crews were still en route, Randall Fire Department was requested to assist. When the first ambulance arrived, emergency personnel found seven patients involved in the crash.
Initial reports indicated that two people may have been ejected from the vehicle. Another patient was found partially hanging out of a window of the overturned vehicle.
Because of the severity of the crash and the large number of injured patients, authorities requested a Flight For Life helicopter to land at St. John’s Catholic Church. A MABAS Box Alarm 65-04 was also activated to bring additional fire and EMS resources to the scene.
Twin Lakes Fire/Rescue triage crews identified one patient in critical condition, three with serious injuries and three with minor injuries. Patients were transported to multiple hospitals, including Northwestern McHenry Hospital, Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital and Aurora Medical Center Kenosha.
A large number of agencies responded to the scene, including Twin Lakes Fire/Rescue, Randall Fire Department, Richmond Fire Protection District, Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue, Spring Grove Fire Protection District, Hebron-Alden-Greenwood Fire Protection District, Bristol Fire and Rescue and Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department.
Additional agencies were also called in to cover fire stations in Twin Lakes, Randall and Wheatland while crews remained at the crash scene.
Twin Lakes Fire Chief Ron Redlin praised the response from the various departments involved.
“This was great work and a great team effort by all involved,” Redlin said. “We appreciate the departments that responded to the scene and those that provided changed quarters to help ensure our communities continued to have emergency coverage during this incident.”
Twin Lakes police, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, Kenosha County Joint Services Dispatch and Twin Lakes Police Dispatch also assisted at the scene.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash. Authorities have not yet released any additional information about the patients or the circumstances leading up to the rollover.

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to a rollover crash near County Highways O and P in the Twin Lakes/Randall area. Initial reports mentioned two vehicles, but on scene it was confirmed as a single‑vehicle rollover with multiple patients and occupants outside, with a possible ejection. Flight for Life was requested with an LZ at St. John’s Church, then canceled due to storms.

My daughter told me about this crash and showed me pictures. She said kids were involved (early 20’s and teens) and there was drinking. I hope they are all ok.
Kids who know about this, mentioned the kid that was driving was drunk, and that he left the scene.

The driver was drunk, kids in vehicle said so.
Supposedly the driver is 20 yrs old and last heard was in hiding. Word amongst the kids in neighborhood is 2 teens were hospitalized for broken backs 1 also broken neck.
One young man from our neighborhood was hospitalized and released.

Driver is an adult, and his name should be announced by now? Still last heard he is in hiding? Hopefully the parents of the underage children know who this driver was?
