BRISTOL, Wis. — A Waukesha man is being held on a $25,000 cash bond after authorities say he led Wisconsin State Patrol on a high-speed chase reaching 135 mph on Interstate 94, drove with his headlights off at times, and had a passenger armed with a handgun inside the vehicle. Court Commissioner William “Bargain Bail Billy” Michel II set the bail during an initial appearance Tuesday after prosecutors sought $50,000.
