KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha man accused of choking his girlfriend and throwing her around their apartment while intoxicated was ordered held on $7,500 cash bail Wednesday by Court Commissioner William “Bargain Bail Billy” Michel II, after prosecutors said he violated an existing bond and committed a new domestic violence offense.

This sounds very similar to two recent cases that The Eye wrote about, both of which ended in trial acquittals. Let’s get this one in front of a jury, shall we?
Didn’t this upstanding citizen just get arrested for a hit and run accident also after the OWI arrest as well?
Don’t know. But wouldn’t the relevant credibility battle be between the defendant and the accuser in this case? Too bad people get to lob accusations and then they’re hidden by the state.
