Milwaukee Felon Who Stole Gun From Brat Stop Gun Show Sentenced to Prison

KENOSHA, Wis. — Kenosha County Circuit Judge Jodi L. Meier on Monday sentenced Devonte V. Maclin, 31, of Milwaukee, to five years in prison, consisting of two years of initial confinement and three years of extended supervision, after he pleaded guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a Class G felony. A second charge of Theft of a Firearm was dismissed and read in as part of the plea agreement. Meier adopted the parties' joint sentencing recommendation, ordered Maclin into custody immediately, and ordered him to pay $809 in restitution.
