KENOSHA, Wis. — James K. Erwin, 60, of Kansasville, is being held on a $10,000 cash bond after prosecutors allege he brutally attacked his longtime girlfriend, threatened to kill her, fractured three of her ribs, and strangled her while he was already free on multiple felony cases. Court Commissioner Tracey Braun set the cash bail Monday and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 4 at 9:30 a.m.

How is a guy like this even out on bond , what is he doing driving with a 4 th pending dui , I hope are system works locks this guy up before Kenosha has another domestic violence murder on there hands , sad for the victim seems like it’s exculating more and more each event .

This guy was in prison for 15 years before!!! With his record he should have never been on the streets!!!! There were so many signs and several times where he should have never been let back out! Everyone around him were in danger! The courts need to wise up and put him away for years!!!!
Just curious if you’re from Texas? We’ve been trying to find out his past convictions for 2 years now with no luck. If you personally know of him could you maybe post a link or something with information.

The current victim is my MIL. Is there anyway you could get whatever convictions he has against your mother & send them to Kenosha County? Maybe it’ll be the nail in the coffin for him. He’ll just continue to do what he’s been doing.

Nothing ever happened , with intox in his vech no respect for the law , from the looks of court record for previous battery D/c and bail jumping , 4 th DUI with refusal , they are making plea deal I sure hope that is off the table , and prosecute to full extent of the law , this behavior and disregard for the law is only going to make his behavior worse , let’s not have another domestic violence murder on Kenosha hands because are DA makes plea deals !!!
This guy is on disability, a burden on the state can’t work but sure can drink and cause harm to others, so is prison cheaper then paying disability, I would think so !!! This guy comes into the gas station on hwy 11 all the time in his black ford f250 and buys alot of bottle of liquor ,
