Award-Winning Maine Singer-Songwriter Connor Garvey Coming To Kenosha’s White Lilac

KENOSHA, Wis. — Award-winning Maine singer-songwriter Connor Garvey will perform at White Lilac in downtown Kenosha on Wednesday, September 30, bringing an evening of live music, storytelling and humor to the intimate venue.

Garvey is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. at White Lilac, 5029 6th Avenue.

Garvey has earned recognition throughout the American folk music scene, winning the Kerrville New Folk Competition, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Songwriter Showcase, Wildflower Festival Singer-Songwriter Competition and SolarFest Singer-Songwriter Showcase. He was also selected by audiences as a Most Wanted Artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.

Kenosha Dumps Diluted Wastewater Into Lake Michigan After More Than 4.5 Inches Of Rain

KUSD Enrollment Drops By 770 Students In One Year, Falls 442 Below District Projection

KENOSHA, Wis. — Kenosha Unified School District enrollment fell by 770 students this school year, dropping from 17,799 students in September 2025 to 17,029 students in the district’s official Sept. 18, 2026 Third Friday count. The decline represents a loss of about 4.3% of KUSD’s student population in a single year. The final number also came in significantly below what KUSD had anticipated.
