A 21-year-old man is in critical condition after being found by a loved one partially under a bed with a gunshot wound to his head, according to scanner traffic. The man was at a residence in the 3300 block of 24th Street. Kenosha Police and Kenosha Fire responded to the scene and were able to get a pulse back.
Flight for Life was requested immediately and the landing zone was designated to be at the Kenosha Dream Playground. After about 30 minutes, the patient was transferred by ambulance to the Dream Playground and loaded into the helicopter.
Meanwhile, at the scene, Kenosha Police officers, detectives, and evidence technicians processed the scene to determine the manner of the injury.
