KENOSHA, Wis. — A 43-year-old Kenosha man is facing five criminal charges—including felony reckless endangerment and false imprisonment—after allegedly assaulting a woman, forcing her into a car, and crashing into a metal gate while threatening to kill her.
Cristihan Alvarez Negron appeared in court Friday where Court Commissioner William Michel II set bail at $15,000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 23.

Prosecutors allege that on May 14, Alvarez Negron found the woman, with whom he shares four children, at the Days Inn in Pleasant Prairie with another man. According to the criminal complaint, he confronted the pair, took the woman’s car keys and cellphone, then forced her into her own vehicle against her will. He allegedly drove off with her, accelerating to 45–50 mph before intentionally crashing into a metal gate, saying, “We’re both going to die.”
Police later located tire tracks and car debris that confirmed a vehicle had barreled through thick brush and over terrain near 118th Avenue in Kenosha. The damage to the woman’s car is estimated at $10,000.
The complaint alleges that when the woman tried to flee, Alvarez Negron pulled her by the hair, punched her in the face causing a nosebleed, and dragged her back into the vehicle. He then allegedly kicked her in the thigh while berating her with profane language. When a passerby approached, Alvarez Negron reportedly blocked their view and claimed everything was fine, but left shortly after when the pedestrian appeared to make a phone call.
Police observed bruising and scratch marks on the woman, who declined medical treatment. Alvarez Negron later claimed the incident was only verbal and refused to answer further questions.
He is charged with the following:
- Second-degree recklessly endangering safety (Class G felony – up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 fine)
- False imprisonment, domestic abuse (Class H felony – up to 6 years and $10,000)
- Battery, domestic abuse (Class A misdemeanor – up to 9 months and $10,000)
- Criminal damage to property (Class A misdemeanor – up to 9 months and $10,000)
- Disorderly conduct, domestic abuse (Class B misdemeanor – up to 90 days and $1,000)

If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum of over 17 years behind bars and more than $56,000 in fines.
Authorities confirmed the woman has a domestic relationship with the defendant but declined to publicly identify her.
Alvarez Negron remains in custody pending his next court appearance.

I’m not excusing this behavior because it is not appropriate.But they do have 4 children together and she was in a hotel room with another guy? Wow, SMH
