KENOSHA, Wis. — A 21-year-old Kenosha man is facing a litany of serious domestic violence charges after police say he repeatedly strangled, battered, and isolated the mother of his child over a period of more than two years, with some of the most severe allegations surfacing just this week.

Antonio L. Jackson was charged Wednesday in Kenosha County Circuit Court with 14 criminal counts stemming from three recent incidents and multiple prior episodes of alleged abuse. His charges include seven counts of strangulation and suffocation, substantial battery, false imprisonment, felony victim intimidation, and several counts of misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct — all with domestic abuse enhancers.
Forced entry leads to disturbing discovery
Kenosha Police were called to Jackson’s condominium Tuesday morning to perform a welfare check on the victim, after a friend reported receiving text messages and photos showing visible injuries. Officers were initially met with silence, but ultimately forced entry after hearing concerning noises and receiving confirmation that Jackson was inside. They found the woman bruised, shaken, and holding the couple’s 1-year-old daughter.
Allegations span multiple locations, methods
The victim told police that Jackson became enraged over a TikTok video and returned home from work early. What followed was a sustained assault, according to the complaint. She described being choked multiple times in different rooms of the apartment — the kitchen, bedroom, living room, and their daughter’s bedroom — including one instance in which Jackson allegedly shoved his fingers down her throat while forcing her face into a mattress.
She told police that she screamed for help in hopes neighbors would hear, and that Jackson tried to prevent her from leaving by taking her keys and dragging her into another room. He allegedly ordered her to cover her bruises with makeup before officers arrived and instructed her to lie about the cause of her injuries.
Pattern of abuse documented
After police intervened, the victim disclosed that Jackson had assaulted her during at least two other recent incidents — on May 25 and May 9 — both involving strangulation, biting, and physical violence. She also provided investigators with numerous photos and videos documenting additional instances dating back to early 2023. In one video, recorded from Jackson’s own phone, the sound of her being strangled can reportedly be heard.
Some of the documented injuries included black eyes, bite marks near her jaw and shoulder, bruises on her limbs, and a bite near her groin area severe enough to leave long-term pain and scarring. According to the complaint, the victim said she lost her job due to frequent absences caused by the need to hide injuries.
The victim also described being socially isolated, controlled through threats, and denied access to friends and social media. She said Jackson had threatened to install surveillance cameras to monitor her interactions.
Statements made during arrest
During transport to jail, Jackson allegedly made several spontaneous statements, acknowledging he “has problems,” that the victim “did not deserve” his behavior, and that he had hurt her repeatedly. He claimed he suffers from bipolar disorder and had attempted therapy.
Assistant District Attorney Alexander Huber argued for a significant cash bond due to the seriousness of the charges and the extensive history of abuse.
Commissioner William Michel II agreed, citing the allegations of repeated strangulation and psychological control as particularly troubling. He ordered a $15,000 cash bail and set a preliminary hearing for June 4, 2025, at 8:45 a.m.
If convicted on all counts, Jackson faces a maximum sentence of over 68 years in prison.

I did not get any facts wrong. I reported off of a document. Everything I reported was directly from that document. If that document had some inaccuracies, they were not mine. Do you think I was there at the house for all those months for the alleged violence?

Were you there 2 years ago when he did these things?? I saw what she looked like after he put his hands on her back then. DV only gets worse and I feel for her!! I know them both and I believe the entire article but honestly and unfortunately I know it’s probably way worse than this!! He deserves to be locked up for a long time!! Nothing about this is ok!
