(Kenosha County Sheriff)

Viviana Avila was arrested Sunday morning after Twin Lakes Police were called to Mount Moriah Drive for a report of a woman repeatedly driving up and down the road in a silver sedan. Witnesses told police they saw a woman matching Avila’s description stop and drive off several times before finally parking near the bottom of the street, where officers found her next to the open passenger door.

When questioned by police, Avila initially claimed others were driving and said a friend named “Tasha” had ditched her with the vehicle and was hiding in the woods. She also tried to shift blame to a man on scene who told officers he had only sat in the vehicle after she parked. Officers noted Avila smelled of alcohol, had red, watery eyes, slurred speech, and admitted to drinking and using cocaine within the past 16 hours.

Avila refused field sobriety tests but consented to a blood draw. She was arrested on suspicion of OWI and multiple accompanying charges. Her vehicle did not have the required ignition interlock device, and her driving privileges were revoked from a 2021 OWI conviction in Racine County.

    1. That right there is the problem. A prison/jail cell doesn’t solve anything. Especially when it’s easier to get drugs behind the wall. People like you are ignorant.

      2. While drugs are available in prison and in jail it is DEFINATELY not easier to get then if you’re out on the street.

      3. It definitely solves the problem of this woman killing others on the road. That is the only problem that needs fixing. Let her rot!
