BRISTOL, Wis. – A 40-year-old man from Zion, Illinois was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl at a camper in Bristol earlier this year.
Timothy G. Larsen is charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16, a Class C felony, and exposing genitals for sexual gratification, a Class I felony. A $75,000 arrest warrant was issued on July 1. His initial court appearance had not yet been scheduled as of Wednesday, but it is likely to take place Thursday.
According to the complaint, the girl had been staying with Larsen and her aunt, who is also his on-and-off girlfriend, at their residence in Illinois. On April 25, the three went to a camper on private property in Bristol as a thank-you to the girl for helping them the previous two weeks.
The girl told deputies that after her aunt went to bed, she and Larsen stayed outside by a fire, where both had been drinking alcohol. She said Larsen complimented her and invited her to sit closer. One thing led to another, and she said they ended up engaging in inappropriate physical contact.
The girl said they were still outside when her aunt came out and saw what was happening. According to the complaint, the aunt told investigators she heard sounds from outside the camper, went to check, and saw both Larsen and the girl with their pants down. She yelled at them and said she was “pretty sure” something inappropriate had occurred. The next morning, Larsen reportedly told her, “That’s not good,” and acknowledged it “shouldn’t have happened.”
When deputies interviewed Larsen at his home in Illinois, he said he remembered sitting around the fire but claimed he didn’t recall anything else. He admitted to drinking heavily and called the allegations “way out of left field.”
The case was investigated by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department. If convicted, Larsen faces up to 40 years in prison on the most serious charge.

Alcohol is the root and cause of all of life’s problems.
The aunt left them outside to go to sleep ??
Drinking all around ??
Is the aunt also charged with giving alcohol to a minor ??
Lots of charges to go around besides the sex that “may or may not” have happened.
On a side note. Look at this guy. That’s a hard 40.
Looks 60
Why do you feel it’s necessary to leave dumb ass comments on EVERY story? Get a life loser!
Because it empowers me and makes me feel better about my life.
Decisions that any sane high school graduate should be able to make correctly.
The boyfriend. Bad decision to have sex with a 15 year old when a willing drunk 40 year old experienced woman was just a few steps away in a soft bed !
The 40 year old aunt who not only allowed her niece to drink but then left her alone with her drunk “boyfriend”.
Then the 15 year old who by that age should have been taught better by her mother. Or at least understood the possibilities of unprotected sex.
All bad decisions. By definition. All trash.
That’s why I comment. Because it’s so sad with all the possibilities to be better in this world, we are still not.
It’s not sad. It’s a reality that exists in every society and has since the dawn of Man. In many countries, including some Judeo-Christian, this incident would be passed over and not even pursued. Yes, the possibilities to be better in this world are always present, but whether another person’s poor decisioning brings bad consequences or not has nothing to do with any other person who had nothing to do with the bad decision and the action(s) that followed it, including the effect on other person(s) deemed as victims, including those who may have lost their lives through no fault of their own (which is usually not the case as one’s observations become wiser with experience). Recommend you follow the very practical advice of the “Desiderata” to live a peaceful and meaningful life with the understanding that there is nothing to be sad about.
why do you feel it’s necessary to reply?
