KENOSHA, Wis. — A 20-year-old Kenosha man is facing a slate of new charges after prosecutors say he attacked his girlfriend twice this month, once slapping and dragging her by the hair, and later shattering her car windshield with a brick before pinning her by the throat against the hood of the vehicle.

Ellian F. Farris was in court Friday where he was charged with eight misdemeanor counts, all with repeater enhancements because of a prior felony conviction for theft from a person and battery to a law enforcement officer in 2023. The charges include two counts of misdemeanor battery (domestic abuse), two counts of criminal damage to property, two counts of disorderly conduct, and two counts of bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, the first incident happened on August 10. Police say Farris became upset after seeing something on his girlfriend’s phone. He allegedly slapped her across the face, pulled her by the hair out of bed, and later shoved her to the ground and dragged her out of the room. Officers noted redness and swelling on her face. The complaint states he also broke her phone during the confrontation.
The second confrontation came on August 26, when the woman returned to the residence to gather her belongings and told Farris she was breaking up with him. According to witnesses, Farris walked outside and smashed her car windshield with a brick, later telling her it was “because you are leaving me.” When she moved her car to a nearby lot, Farris allegedly followed and continued the confrontation. Police say he pinned her by the neck to the hood of her vehicle for about 10 seconds before her relatives intervened.
Relatives told officers they saw Farris with his hands around the woman’s throat as she struggled. Witnesses said he later grabbed her phone and ran, but officers recovered it in a nearby yard.
At his initial appearance, Court Commissioner William Michel II ordered cash bail and scheduled a pre-trial conference for October 2.
If convicted on all charges with the repeater enhancements applied, Farris faces a maximum of 12 years in jail.

Wow, the contempt look in this individual’s eyes is nothing but anger!
Maybe she dumped you because you have 8 inches of tattoos on your neck and 1 inch of pecker.
Doubtful. Mr. Farris’s 8 inches of Tats likely matches 8 inches of Tool complete with magnetic bad boy KO fairmones, which is what captured her desires to begin with. A very common result to women of poor judgment and lack of control over their lower sensual desires.
SO very true!!
The downvotes are confirmation of being right over target. I hoped there’d have been more. But content with 3. I’m confident the 3 are female cupcakes whom have zero sense of personal responsibility offset with high senses of social entitlement brimming with “tude”.
The neck tattoo just screams “Winner.”
Many females dig bad boys. They aren’t innocent. When they get more than what they dug up, they are forced to accept the consequences of their poor judgement of men.
Hopefully she learned her lesson not to date losers like this guy. He certainly has issues.
Just another clown that needs to be put away for a while.
He’s no clown
