Kenosha County Sheriff’s Deputy Keeps Job After Relative in Motorcycle Meth Ring Gets Tipped Off

Deputy Jeanean Keske, - Kenosha County Sheriff's Office

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. – A Kenosha County sheriff’s deputy remains on the job after leaking confidential details of a narcotics investigation to a close relative — information that was then relayed to a suspect tied to an outlaw motorcycle gang and meth trafficking network. Despite department insiders telling Kenosha County Eye that termination was a “for sure thing,” Sheriff David Zoerner personally reduced her discipline after she expressed remorse.

      1. How could any other law enforcement employee ever trust her? Yes, everyone makes mistakes, this was the kind of mistake that shows someone to be completely unsuitable for their particular career choice.

  1. Moral of the story is if you’re in trouble and you’re a female just start becoming emotional and your troubles will go away. Got it.

  2. Geez, the guy can’t even run his own department without a bunch of keyboard warriors giving opinions. And who is everyone going to vote for instead? Some liberal from Lake County. Good luck with that. Let them take care of their own employee discipline. People act like there is a line of people wanting to be cops. It ain’t so.

    5
    13
    1. So bc the only other option is a Lib we are just supposed to accept the sh*tty RINO behavior for him?! This is why our County is going downhill so fast. We need to hold bad public leaders accountable-regardless of anything else.

      18
      1
      1. Well, what comprises “we” has been incredibly lazy for about 40 years now.
        Will that change ??
        Who knows …..
That’s why things have gotten so bad.

    2. The problem is that she interfered with a potential METH GANG ARREST!! That meth is still on our streets now!!! The citizens are at risk and that’s who Zoerner is supposed to be protecting, as is Keske!!!

      16
  3. Why ?
Can’t go two weeks without a paycheck ?

Do people who get paid $70K plus a year live that far on the edge ?
    Married too !
Just take the 10 day punishment like a man and go volunteer at a homeless shelter or at a Habitat for Humanity build. There’s one going in Racine right now.
Come on sheriff ? Grow a backbone and give her what she’s got coming. Full suspension and reduction in rank or pay grade.
Lessons are not learned without clear consequences.

    31

      1. But we need women on the force.

On the street. A woman’s perspective in certain situations is unique and valuable.
Not to mention just the frisking part of the job.

        Gotta have em !

        7
        15
        1. Most of the time, women escalate things unnecessarily making them too emotional for the beat. Desk duty and detective work is more suited for them.

          14
          12
          1. Agreed. There is a place for women in law enforcement, just not on the front lines or command positions. Hermetic and Biblical law is very clear about female deficiencies when hoisted above males. .
Also, Rice University Medical research as proven a link with female hysteria and The Pill. Results prove The Pill reduces the size and capacity of the female brain frontal cortex – the center of emotional self control, reasoning ability and general intelligence. The empirical proof over 60 years supporting the science is self-evident.

      1. Zoerner was the school cop of Wilmot Union High School back when she attended… not sure if that has anything to do with it.. but just some past history.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

        1
        1
  4. So let me get this straight. They fired one deputy because of information that got “leaked” from a criminal informant without actually investigating the situation. But this one admitted to leaking information to not only gang members but drug dealers who she happens to be related to and she gets a slap on the wrist? Wow this department has gone downhill.

    32
    1
      1. They weren’t fired for leaking information. A criminal informant leaked information about this deputy to the department. That information was completely false. However it was not investigated thoroughly. Their coworkers were not interviewed, dispatchers were not interviewed, the GPS system on the car was not pulled and the call records were not pulled.

  5. She will end up being a supervisor at RCI, all you need is to be a drunk or criminal. What does her straight lace husband think about this? Time to skate off bro

    9
    3
    1. She called him too ?

Why would she do that unless she expected something else to happen ?

Or did she call him for advice ?

Here’s some advice ! Keep your damn mouth shut !!
Could anyone imagine if it went really bad and someone got shot ?
      Loose lips sink ships

      12
      1
  6. Wait Keske as in the assistant chief of the fire department at Salem Keske? I’m sure he’s so proud of his daughter in law. Or maybe he’s the mystery family member?

    13
    1. One in the same. Its almost like the requirements to join that family is to do sketchy shit in the name of your public service job.

  7. Sadly, as the county, city, state and country try to combat drug use. . . Her lack of understanding of the severity of her decision, similar to a nurse giving the wrong medication. Maybe back to the academy for a refresher on basic police procedures? Was a note made in her personnel file? Corrective Action of any sort? This has set a presedence on what the sheriff, County tolerate from their employees. Directly off the department website. The badge is five points;
    Integrity, lawful, ethical, duty, accountable.

    6
    3
    1. She knew exactly what she was doing. It wasn’t a lack of understanding. If you want to go with a lack of understanding of something so basic and simple, there is no amount of training that will fix her.

  8. IS THIS A JOKE ! This officer should be gone that is corruption. Not only did she tip them off she put many in danger this is crazy , what are you thinking Sheriff she should be fired asap you are not fit for the JOB !!!!

    21
  9. Stop flushing the brown. All this cop and deputy bashing is over the top. We need to back the blue and brown shirts. They can do no wrong. Sure, many are perverts, traitors, hypocrites, but they go out every day protecting us from the bad guys. Shamefull

    4
    9
  10. She Needs to be fired immediately ! How can you even look past this , So if you mess up you can just cry and win and get away with it! .

    1. I agree! Her shift partners will take care of the problem and she’ll quit. They will never trust her ever! They’ll treat her as an outsider, maybe even take their time responding when she’s calling for backup. In my time, this would’ve been instant termination and possible criminal charges. Bad decision Sheriff!

      15
  11. Lets see here. I flash my headlights at oncoming traffic to warn them about a speed trap, and i get a ticket for that, but we have a sworn deputy tipping off biker gang drug trafficker and it ok. I’m really confused here on this one. I personally am going to look into this and talk to some federal agents that i work closely with and see how
The citizens of Kenosha can go about getting the corruption of Kenosha to stop This Zoener you need to Terminate that deputy and step down. As a back the badge and a supporter o of the KPD and KSD fundraiser and support i find this very offensive.

    19
  12. All I can say is WOW! She admitted it was a “mistake” to relay the information to a relative?????? It was a deliberate act to inform a relative who she must have known was in contact with the suspect. THAT’S WHY SHE TOLD THE RELATIVE! Why else would she tell the relative? Idle gossip? Nothing to see here, just an honest mistake? Holy shit!

  13. This story reminds me of an episode of “Sons of Anarchy.” The only difference is the show didn’t co-star a bumbling, stumbling Barney Fife type, a role Zoerner seems to be perfecting these days.

  14. We must join Together as a community and demand answers from are sheriff, why is this ok, A officer tipped off a family member trafficking drugs into are town, this means that she is aware that this person is involved in this crime activity, and she fails to report this to So why is she a Deputy she will arrest others for the same but let one of he family do it . And this is ok in the eyes of are Sheriff, come on! let’s be real here … IM requesting the resignation of are Sheriff officially and will be moving forward to do so.
Kevin i sure hope we hear more about this situation, this is not one to let rest.

    16
    1
  15. She needs to be terminated. Her behavior is unacceptable and will probably be put on the black list at the DA’s office

  16. His arrogance is in a way. You got to remember He was a sergeant. Wow
If it was anybody else that would have been charged and fired.

  17. You are not going to see this story anywhere else in media.
    Just here !!

For those of you that hate Kevin and his news site, don’t you want to know about this abuse of power ?

That a sheriff can “let off” an employee that violates not just policy but laws too ?
I’m sure there is a broken law in here somewhere.
And or doesn’t himself follow policy ?

Whether you think the sheriff was right or wrong, this event will either make you want to vote for him or against.
    It’s your choice.
But we don’t get those choices when legecy media doesn’t report these things.
Kevin helps us make choices. By reporting the facts

    6
    2
  18. Mr. Solis, you must investigate this. You can either send your own investigator, I know it sounds like a joke, or demand a thorough explanation from the Sheriff. If the explanation doesn’t hold up, the Sheriff may face serious legal consequences for covering for her. You will soon receive an anonymous message containing all the facts, clearly proving how that cow leaked the information to the suspect.

  19. If she doesn’t do prison time then maybe Zorner should!! Other ppl have been fired and charged in cases like this. What does this say for Kenosha county you ask? It’s a good ok boy system and in cases like this, if ppl in authority are not willing to take initiative in disciplinary actions of their employees then they should be removed!!!! Ppl are sitting in prison right now for this type of crap. Kenosha clean your act up! No wonder ppl are moving and why we’re a laughing stock.

  20. The guys in the office probably just couldn’t bring themselves to fire her because they realized they wouldn’t be able to stare at her ass anymore

  21. Her squad should be decorated with the saying to serve and protect my biker gang relatives. If real conservatives do not contest the sheriff or the county executive you’re just better off voting for the liberal and that is a sad fact.

  22. I think I’ve seen the biker gang around town. They call themselves the Try Too Hards. I wanted to join, but then I realized I’m not a dad in leather.

  23. Hey keske, if an addict decides to ignore their loved ones and spend the day sick and using meth I’ll tell them you’re the one to thank.

  24. She could “Leak” info about other investigations going on also. How can you trust working with another officer who can/will comprise you ?

  25. I hope you’ve been working on your resumes and cover letters
Everyday you decide to keep your deputy job is a choice to suffer your consequences, and no one is going to respect you for that choice because you’re as dirty as they come
